About the Author

John Morgan, who is based in Brisbane, Australia, is an investigative writer with a diploma in journalism. Since 2005 he has carried out extensive full-time research into the events surrounding the deaths of Diana, Princess of Wales and Dodi Fayed. After studying the Paget report when it was published in December 2006, he was shocked by the content of it. He realised that the £4 million report which took three years to produce was littered with inaccuracies and poorly drawn conclusions -- John viewed it as a huge injustice to the memory of Princess Diana. The 2007 book, Cover-up of a Royal Murder, was the result of his subsequent investigation into the Paget report. John went on to closely follow and analyse the proceedings and transcripts of the London inquest into the deaths of Princess Diana and Dodi Fayed. The Diana Inquest series of books is the result of his thorough research and investigation into that process. John Morgan can be contacted at shining.bright@optusnet.com.au

I must say that the author John Morgan has writen another incredible book as a follow up from his previous books. His book 'Diana Inquest: How and Why Did Diana Die' reveals the shocking truth of Diana's death. John Morgan has done such an amazing and complex amount of research to write this book. The author was an investigative reporter before becoming ill, and having to stop working. This previous experience would have aided him with the research he has done.

Extremely important evidence was kept from the jury. John Morgan lists key witnesses who did not appear before the jury. My question is why did they not. Even the coroner changed the evidence in his summing up so that the jury could not come to the conclusion that it was murder. John Morgans Book exposes the complete sham that it was.

Despite the efforts of the authoities in Paris and London to have us to believe otherwise a lot of perplexing questions remain.

The six month inquest obviously was never intended for the truth to be known. The legal proceedings left many serious allegations left unexplained. I was convinced by the authors book 'Diana Inquest: The Untold Story', plus 'Operation Paget with hundreds of mistakes' that Princess Diana was murdered. Hence my interest in this book.

John Morgan keeps speculation within reasonable limits. He gives much attention to detail allowing witnesses that did not appear at the inquest to speak for themselves. Again, one would ask "why didn't they appear at the inquest'.

The treatment Diana recieved after the crash is shocking, with doctors possibly in the pay of others lieing at the inquest. The doctors stopped her from surviving. She didn't stand a chance. You need to read the book to find out what really happened. It is a must read book. Until you do, you will always wonder.

Diana Inquest
The Untold Story
Part 2 How & Why Did Diana Die?
John Morgan

In this gripping book, Diana Inquest The Untold Story Part 2 How & Why Did Diana Die? John Morgan provides once more a thorough and scholarly analysis of the transcripts of the 2008 Princess Diana Inquest. The courageous author exposes the methods used by the Royal Coroner to manipulate the 11 members of the jury, making certain that justice would be denied to the victims of this tragedy and their family, and that the jury would not return a verdict of murder. Many witnesses did not appear before the jury and were not heard by the French and British investigations. We discover that the official French investigation "ignored anything to do with motives" - which John Morgan studies carefully - and failed to interview or cross-examine many important eye-witnesses and several medical treatment witnesses in the tunnel and at the hospital, while the British investigation omitted to consider the landmine campaign as a motive for murdering the Princess. John Morgan demonstrates in a very accurate way that the medical treatment received by the Princess of Wales before reaching the hospital - in the tunnel and in the ambulance - provoked her death, a death which could have been avoided if she had been taken straight away and at speed to the right and nearest hospital, and if the doctors who were "looking after" her during her transportation had communicated to the hospital the correct diagnostic in order to have the right surgeon and medical team awaiting them on stand-by. These were not mistakes caused by simple negligence and circumstances, but deliberate criminal acts, part of a well-planned and carefully organized criminal machination which led to the tragically staged crash aiming at killing the Princess of Wales, in which several people lost their lives.

I have read two of John Morgan's books dealing with the death of Princess Diana. I am not interested in idle speculation but Mr. Morgan provides relevant material from interviews given during the inquests as well as sourced evidence that should have been included. We now have the names of the people who were in the ambulance that brought Diana so painstakingly slowly to the hospital. If you have any interest in Princess Diana or simply an interest in true crime, this is an absorbing, sober read. The medical section of this particular book should make everyone with a conscience extremely angry.
I hope that Mr. Morgan's books help bring justice to those responsible for the murder of Diana. There really is no other conclusion one can reach when you read the extent to which many people went to ensure that Princess Diana would not survive the night of Aug 31, 1997. To call this crash an "accident" is to ignore the facts.
In retrospect, Princess Diana's fight against the use of landmines was incredibly brave. The fact that she realized the danger in taking on the big corporations making millions of dollars off the sale of these landmines is testament to how deep her commitment was.
I am writing this review right before Prince William's wedding to Kate Middleton and it makes me very sad that the woman who most deserves to be at that wedding, won't be. Hopefully we all, but especially Prince William and Harry, will learn everything that happened the night Princess Diana died and justice will be served. I give John Morgan tons of credit for exposing more and more of that truth.
