This is a cute little game.....

Graphically this game is a little dated. The Dibbles and the worlds that they inhabit are however quite charming, and that adds enough appeal to the look of the game to make it visually interesting. The worlds do get a little boring to the eye late in the game, however, they never become an eyesore.

The music and sounds are truly top-flight. The sound effects are cute and fit the Dibbles personality very well. The background music is excellent, and, conveys all the drama that one would expect from a game that requires you to sacrifice your players in order to advance......and yet never so severe that it ruins the whimsicality of the game.......... they are not people... they are bugs ....some of them ARE gonna give thier lives in service to the Dibble King.....

The gameplay itself is where the game starts to falter a little bit. While the controls are spot on , and, the game mechanics are explained in perfect depth........ the game itself is just too darn easy. There is really no challenge at all.......even in the later levels.

Dibbles offers only 33 levels, which is way too few for a game of this type. Considering that none of the levels are ever really going to "stump" the player for very long it is entirely likely that this game can be completed in under an hour. (It took me around 45 minutes) ...................Thats just not enough content........

This game DOES NOT CONTAIN IAP.

There are other Dibbles apps offered thru a "More Games" link on the Dibbles menu screen. This link will take you to the appstore and , if you choose to do so, allow you to purchase either the Winter Themed or Pro pack dibbles games. These purchases are made thru the Appstore proper.

it really fun but I don't get why the cute little dibbles have to squish them selves for sticky stuff break their neck for a bouncy thing drown for floats and make them stone for blocking. I mean instead of squishing them they could use tape glue or jelly. instead of breaking their neck they should use a spring or trampeline .they should use wood instead of drowning them selves and instead of turning into stone they should just tell other dibbles to turn. they shouldn't sacrifice them selves for a king. they should have a tool box. if it was that way I would give em 5 stars.

This game has nice cartoon graphics in high resolution on the Kindle Fire. The object of the game is to place command stones in the paths of the Dribbles so they sacrifice themselves to save the king. The game starts off very easy and it is a breeze to beat the obstacles but it does get harder and you have to think quickly. You can make the Dribbles make bridges with their bodies or become blocks to force the following Dribbles to change direction. You only get so many Dribbles so don't let the obstacles kill too many or you can't win. This is primarily a puzzle type game to create a safe path to help the King to safety while saving as many Dribble lives as possible as that helps increase your score. Make sure to place the command stones in the right places, it is important. If you misplace a stone the "X" button removes it and you can quickly replace it. Pressing the pause button let's you access the menu button.

There are many command stones and in each level you will be given more or less stones and sometimes even a new one. Use them wisely as you sometimes only have enough and once in a while you may have and extra one. Some examples of commands stones are Bridge, Block, Climb Walls, Bounce and Dig.

The game features a simple help screen but there is also a Walkthrough button that takes you to Games Hub to download another app that is a level by level cheat sheet to beat the game. This download is free and it plays a video of how to beat each level. It is very complete. It also uses the network communication and system tools to retrieve running applications.

There is an extensive More Games tab that takes you to a multiple tab game selection guide. Tapping a game takes you to either the Amazon Appstore or to the Amazon Browser store to buy the app.

this works great on my kindle - no problems noted. the game was fun and just challenging enough to keep me amused for about an hour.... after that you need to buy more levels.... for a paid app I would feel cheated, but as faotd it was ok for a brief stay on my kindle - not sure how much replay value it had - once figured out there is no challenge or to make it go faster.

A little morbidly themed (you get dibbles to kill themselves out of loyalty) but still a cute game. The point is to make a pathway for the king to get to safety by sacrificing subjects to make bridges, jump, fall, reverse, climb, dig, explode or drown & float creating spots for the king to cross over their dead bodies (instead of him dying). Its a puzzle game of sorts that has increasingly complex ways to figure out what kind of pathway to make. At first its much too easy and irritatingly slow - until you find the fast forward button and that makes this game much more tolerable until you get to the harder levels when you wish there was a slow/stop button. Sometimes the pathways are not at all obvious and you end up needing to work it out with some thought and trial & error.
