Just barely 60 days after Amazon return policy expired an unfortunate mishap. My wife leaned the vacuum against the wall to lift up an area rug in the basement and the brush head slid from underneath without even anyone touching it sending the whole thing to the floor and immediately stopped working and created a big gap or crack along the entire diameter on the top part of the canister.
The lightweight-ness of the vacuum could have been it's own downfall. Wondered how can an everyday appliance not be sturdy enough to withstand impact from its own dimensions?
Dibea should use or add rubber ends under the cleaning head instead of a nylon-felt type material to prevent slipping. At least insert a warning that it has to be laying on the floor unless it's on the charging mount. Although that would be a deal breaker for the elderly or someone with back issues. The charging and storage mount is not secure enough to hold the accessories.
I would still reconsider getting this item if the company improved build quality and add a removable battery option just like my power tools.
That being said, we really liked this little sucker. It would work great for our needs. Just to pick up dog hair tumbleweeds and crumbs off from our all laminate and tile floors. And the battery would last great. At a full charge we could vacuum our entire 2-2 condo plus the tile balcony (roughly 1150 sq ft) and usually suck it all before the battery died and needed more juice. On occasion it would die just before the last bit was sucked, but not often.
And once in a while I would notice it was less sucky than normal, but then once done I would empty and tear it all apart, meaning the little canister part and the filter screen bits, and clean it all up and then re-assemble once dry. Then it would go right back to sucking again.
That was until.. disaster.
Just last week I was vacuuming before my parents arrived, (trying to look responsible) and as I was just turning around with the unit in hand to change direction to the hallway.. SNAP!
I turned around with the unit in my hand, still sucking air, but there the power head and main tube lay on the ground behind me. It seems as I turned the actual part that connects the tube/head to the sucky can, snapped off from the sucky can, b/c the tube was still attached to it on the floor. And before you question my vacuum tactics, I was not turning around at warp speed, nor did I hit a wall or anything. I was simply turning around casually in open space of our dining area to make my way down the hall, on a bare laminate floor.
I turned the unit off and assessed what had happened, only to determine that the connector part snapped off one of the side tabs, that connect the connector to the sucky can. The unit still works and I can place all the parts back together, but b/c that tab is not there any slightly sideways motion pulls it apart. SUCKY!
Annnd of course, now just looking at my purchase/order of this unit, it was Jan of last year. SO it lasted me 1 yr 1 mo almost exactly to the date. So I'm sure any and all warranty returns are out of the question now. SUPER. SUCKY.
Maybe I can glue it back on or something if all else fails and I can get few more months uses out of it, until I can find another solution.
But so in review, really liked this for what we used it for, but for durability reasons, I have to rate it.. meh.

Apparently should have read the other 1 star reviews. Looks like there is no hope asking the company to fix this, blah.
We opened it and fixed it...only to have it broken again after 1 use. Bad purchase.
The suction power is good. There are two power settings, but I found that for use on a carpet, the 2nd speed was more effective.
Charging is done using a dock that can be fixed on a wall and holds the attachments of the vacuum cleaner (a brush and a long, pointy attachment for tight corners and couch cushions. The downside of the dock charging is that you HAVE to charge it docked and to do that, you're probably going to HAVE to hang it on the wall. Unless you leave it on the ground in a corner and charge it without the long red stick to avoid occupying space.
The top of the vacuum cleaner has 3 LEDs that indicate the battery level.
The brush at the bottom of the vacuum is also motorized, which was a pleasant surprise! Compared to the other vacuums I have used where the brush at the bottom only moves due to the movement of the whole vacuum cleaner front and back, the brush on this vacuum starts spinning (also two speeds) when you power on the vacuum cleaner and guarantees a better dirt picking performance.
Overall, I am happy with this vacuum cleaner and I will update this review once I have used it some more and find out how the battery life is since this is one of the biggest issues with rechargeable vacuum cleaners.
Wery light. I have 10-years-old handheld Dyson which I bought for $350and which still sells for $350; this one is lighter and more powerful, my 78-years-old mom was able to use it to clean her room herself (she is still very weak after surgery).
Everything was well done and quickly resolved, can't ask for anything more than that. Everyone makes mistakes, it is what we do after the mistake that set us apart.
The good: lightweight, very quiet, decent suction, easy to clean, and a fraction of the price of a Dyson.
The bad: the brush tool is too short, making it completely useless! And the rotating/spinning brush head is problematic - it would sometimes stop spinning on hardwood floors, and would not spin at all on carpet.
I've written the seller; I'm curious to see how they would ensure customer satisfaction.
Update: customer service was ok. They taught me how to clean the rotating brush so that it spins again. Looks like this will be part of maintenance every couple of weeks of use.
Update: I have to clean the rotating brush pretty regularly, which sucks.
The short brush tool has proven itself to be completely useless.
Otherwise, still works fine.
At this price tag, I think it would be hard to beat.
I currently have a Dyson canister vaccuum which I love but wanted something more light weight for in between jobs. I haven't taken out my big vaccuum since receiving my Dibea.
Does it do the same job as my Dyson? No, but it does a very acceptable job for something that is so convenient. I have no problem taking it out every day or every other day for quick cleaning. Vacuuming isn't such a big task anymore.
I was surprised by how long the battery lasted considering that I keep it on the strongest suction all of the time.
It's quick and easy to throw it in the truck to bring out to camp.
The indicator light showing battery life is super convenient as is the storage on the base for crevice attachments.
I would definitely recommend this vaccuum.
I would also like to comment on the seller here, as Amazon won't let me EDIT my previous comment. 3 days After I took delivery of the item, it went on sale. I contacted the seller and they refunded me the difference! GREAT customer satisfaction here!
