So, i didn't have any socks for a couple days but, when these came, I loved them so much that I bought three more packs! (Plus they're black and match 90% of my wardrobe) They are comfortable, have a nice little compression to the feet, don't smell like hell like my dress socks did at the end of the day, and I never have to match and fold socks again! Pile them all in the drawer, and any two that I pull out in the morning always match. Hours of my life have been given back to me. And they say you can't buy time!
These socks have held up pretty well through 4-5 washes already. They have kept their smooth texture and nice fit every single time I wear them. I tried these because of the price and the reviews I read, and I can agree that they are nice socks! The crew pack length is long, so if you're looking for a shorter sock, don't buy these, buy either ankle or just above the ankle.
I wear these for work as dress socks when I want a comfortable pair of socks on (I'm wearing them now!). In terms of sweat and heat, they don't "wick" sweat away, nor do they try. They're not made of that awful fabric that is supposed to keep your feet cool but instead make your feet into a walking sauna. I don't notice any sweat unless I'm working out, which I try not to workout in these since they're nice socks.
Overall, extremely pleased with these and if they hold up even longer, I'll look into buying more!
Edited: It is now some two months after my first review, above. There is one pair left that does not have a hole in the heels. The socks tend to come apart where the grey fabric meets the black. I do not think it is a result of my shoes or a wear pattern, since other socks I have do not have the same problem, and the fabric is not worn, it is separated. These either have a manufacturing defect or are simply cheap. I would not buy again.
These "XL" socks on Amazon fit my other son, who wears a size 12, and my older son couldn't even get them past his ankle. I'm very disappointed that these are being sold as XL socks when they are just the normal 9-12 size sock. If I hadn't already washed them before I noticed, I would return them.
I am hard on everything I own, socks included. I have purchased these socks on two separate occasions, because of the value and the quality. The only reason I don't give a full 5 stars is they do tend to stretch a bit at the heel, but that little character flaw won't keep me from buying them again when needed.

I have also noticed that not only do the heels stretch over time, but that is also the place where holes show up. My socks which I have ordered 16 months ago, have developed holes in the heel. Quite frankly after 16 months, they have earned the right to air out a bit and be retired! I'm going to up my rating from a 4 to a 5 for this reason. You just can not go wrong with these socks.
