I am about 200lbs - 6'2 tall. I'm not a meat head, a triathlon runner or a beer drinkin' couch potato. I'm your average guy who enjoys working on the house on the weekend. I ordered a LARGE-TALL because its not baggy in the mid section but i also don't end up with a painful wedgie from my *ss to my b*lls every time i reach over my head.
Only "problem" is the legs and arms are a bit long. Which is VERY unusual for me as i wear about a 35-36 waist at 34 length (if i can find them that long). I'm happy tho, for the first time i my life i can cuff my pants if i want to which kinda fits the old school gas station mechanic thing you have going on with these. I assume they are made to wear some layers underneath that's why they have some extra slack. I live in Florida tho, so no layers going on.
The ONLY thing i wish they had... wish any damn coveralls had is an arm pocket for a pen (like a flight suit). Putting anything in the breast pocket will cause it to fall out when you lean over unless it has a clip on it. There is a long pocket on the leg that might work but i am leery of getting stabbed in the leg so i have not tried it yet (they call it a ruler pocket, i assume for a reason).
I'm 5'10", 185lbs with a 43" chest and a 36" waist. I wear size large in mostly everything. Levi's I wear size 34x34. I ordered the size Medium Regular. It fits perfectly right out of the box. In fact it's a very flattering fit for a product that seems to be getting such negative feedback. Had no issues with the crotch being at my knees and in fact when reaching my arms straight upward I could feel it snugging against my crotch. Waist has plenty of room so no issues there. Chest was the area of concern. Gussets in the back add some mobility, but if I ever wanted to wear a hoody under it I would have to go a size larger and that's what I'll be doing. That being said, if I had a smaller chest/back, I'd keep the medium. Compare your measurements with mine to determine whether this size would be appropriate for you. Also factor in that you'll likely wash and dry it and so while this medium fits perfect now, I assume it wouldn't fit so great after a run through the dryer.
Regarding the length, my shirt sleeve is a 34.5. The sleeves on the medium regular were perfect. Dead on where they should be at just a little bit above my thumb knuckle. Pants were long by about 2 inches or so and again at 5'10" I think that's normal. Not sure how people are saying that the regular size was way too long. Hopefully this review helps people to understand the dimensions of the coveralls and get the proper size. Once I have the size large in hand and washed/dried I'll write another review.
I normally wear a medium-to-large in shirts and 32-36 waist in pants with a 29-31 inch inseam. This set of coveralls fits well on top; the legs are long, but I expected them to need hemming even before I bought them. Unless you wear a 36 length, this will probably need to be hemmed for you.
Overall it fits well -- not too loose, but looser than dress clothes or jeans -- but this isn't made to have a tailored fit like dress wear.
The material is not quite as thick as denim, but definitely made for above average wear-and-tear. Color is neutral gray pattern and I like the non-navy-blue color as an option so I don't look like I stole this from the oil-change or tire shop down the street.

the legs are too long and the crotch hangs low, but as a 280lb 5'6 mechaninc they are the best i've found. but, no they don't really fit
