So, i didn't have any socks for a couple days but, when these came, I loved them so much that I bought three more packs! (Plus they're black and match 90% of my wardrobe) They are comfortable, have a nice little compression to the feet, don't smell like hell like my dress socks did at the end of the day, and I never have to match and fold socks again! Pile them all in the drawer, and any two that I pull out in the morning always match. Hours of my life have been given back to me. And they say you can't buy time!
UPDATE: I have come to love these sock, and I would say thus far they are the best work socks that I have ever had. They fit well, and do a decent job of wicking away foot sweat. Four stars is a reasonable rating for these, if they were a little thicker, they could provide more cushion, which would help with being on my feet all day.
Thorlo walking crew sock (1 pair)
Good quality and feel. But too pricey for one sock. I didn’t find that it was any better than the other three brands I tried.
Powersox coolmax (3 Pair)
Probably my first pick, but not really by any large margin. I think thickness (or thin in this case), etc. just made it my pick. These are what I chose to keep.
Under Armour men’s heatgear crew sock (3 Pair)
Provided the same level of protection as the others but these were too tight/compression on the calf.
Dickies men’s Dri-tech comfort crew socks (6 pair)
Honest, for the lowest cost, I thought they were just as good as the others.
When you look at the description, you can click on one of several choices. There seems to be an option available for a higher price with a slightly different material but with the exact same description, (just a different vendor and fullfilled by Amazon). Not sure why someone would want to pay more for the same sock.
Since they just arrived I cannot provide a fair evaluation of wear quality. They seem to be a comfortable sock. They are not as thick as the hiking or warm weather socks I use, but they are thicker than my casual socks.
