There are exercises, along with photos that I would have never even thought of that I could do for exercise, and include my dog. If you easily get bored with the same workout routine, Peggy shares a variety of different workouts to keep you motivated. Add to this, exercising with your four legged friend, and it is sure to equal weight loss success for the both of you.
This book is filled with oodles of resources and information!
Note: I was provided a free copy of this book by the author in exchange for a fair review.
But it doesn't have to be about being overweight, it can be about getting in shape and we call all do that (IMO). A light workout, long walk with our dogs, or a play session in our yard makes me forget about all the stress of the day. It also creates well behaved dogs, because they have something to do that they enjoy.
Peggy Frezon wrote an easy to follow, useful book that is for every dog owner who wants to get in shape. That can include losing weight or just finding new ways to be active with your dog. She covers diet, nutrition, exercise and more and I loved seeing familiar names and stories through the book (ones I've also read on other pet blogs). This lends along with Peggy's story lends credibility to her book.
Peggy covers the ingredients in our dogs food concisely, but simply so that it's easy to follow and retain. She gives tons of ideas on how to exercise with our dogs, what foods to eat, what snacks are healthy for us and our dogs - the book is full of great information.
What was difficult for me was making it through, because with each chapter, I was inspired to take action.
Very happy that I read this book. I'll be referring to it regularly both for my blog and for my diet and fitness regime with our dogs.
Disclosure: I received a free electronic copy of this book.

This is a great follow-up book and I will be bundling up both books to give to the dog lovers on my Christmas list! Just in time for a New Year's resolution to get in better shape.
I would have loved to have had more low-cal recipes..but maybe that is the next book! Bone a-petite!
