In "Ethics" and "Discipleship" you get a good picture of Bonhoeffer's dialectical theology working within each book and with each book being one part of a sort of dialectic...at least as I read Bonhoeffer. Bonhoeffer is known to be the last great Modern theologian, and perhaps a theologian who straddles the modern-postmodern transition. Must read. Also, this new critical edition is much more readable than the previous editions and I would only recommend this version to people.
