About the Author
Kaylee Ryan has had a passion for reading since she was a little girl. That passion has slowly led to spinning romantic tales, and a one-click addiction. When she doesn’t have her nose stuck in her kindle or fingers glued to the keyboard, you can find Kaylee hanging out with friends and family. She loves all genres of music, and enjoys scrapbooking. She lives in Ohio with her husband (her real life happily ever after) and their rambunctious little boy.--This text refers to the audioCD edition.

I know that in Kaylee Ryan's works there is so much love. And the story evolves around that love. There's a small bit of drama thrown in for some dramatic effect. But it never overwhelms the story. The build up for whomever the couple is, to actually get together makes for a very frustrating reader. But it is absolutely worth the weight when it happens.
I am absolutely in love with this book. On so many different levels. It hit all the feels. It made you think. It left you with a full heart. It was undoubtedly one of the best books I've read. I literally can't praise it enough. Kaylee Ryan is one of my favorite authors. Her work is a guaranteed smile. And I know I'll be throughly entertained.
Small note- I cried like a big baby when Lucas says "I'm going to make love to you"
I have to admit that I love love love the really sweet low angst stories. This one was great except there were times with Addy's issues with men in the past got a bit tiring. Lucas was always there for her and was a rock so it felt a bit contrived to make her so angry but like I said, this is a generally smooth, low angst story.
I purchased and listened to the audiobook. Callie Dalton did really well. I thought she was able to play multiple characters pretty flawlessly and switch between female and male characters well. And Teddy Hamilton? I buy books just because I know TH is the narrator because he's one of my favorites- as always, he doesn't disappoint. The narration elevated the story and i'm glad I got to listen.
Lucas is attracted to Addyson, but he can see she's skittish and he's going to have to go slow with her. He knows that she could be the one he just needs to break down her walls.
A super sweet romance that delivers two happily ever after's. Yep, her best friend Harper also meets her forever in the form of Lucas's best friend Justin who was also with him the night he met Addyson.
It's a slow burn romance that has all the elements of a feel good romance. No drama, no cheating.
She gives me hope that some day my "Lucas" will come. I love how he couldn't ignore her conversation and how that rant changed the lives of 4 people.
If you've loved and hurt or love the idea of love showing up when you are benched than you need to read Addy story because she gives hope that ice eventually melts and hurts lead to happy...IF YOU LET IT!!!!
