Go with the flow! Sing a song of stormy oceans and float upon the calming seas with the new digitech NAUTILA chorus/Flanger. Create never before heard Tidal swirls or soothing rhythmic waves with the voice and drift controls. These controls allow you to add up to eight chorus voices or four Flanger voices, and then blend and morph these waveforms at will. Increase the modulation speed in real-time by holding down the momentary footswitch and then release to continue on your voyage through the currents. Separate speed, depth, emphasis, voices, and mix controls shape your Waves into clean curls or soupy foam. True bypass, stereo inputs and outputs, silent switching, and rugged construction, make the NAUTILA As practical as it is creative.

Bad points- It is a digital effect with digital modeling of analog bbc chip technology, which sounds really freaking good. So, it's a super warm and responsive digital pedal and when used in a subtle manner it sounds like a real analog pedal, use to much effect and you'll get that cold digital overtone (the less "voice" control the more analog it sounds). Not true bypass, it's hard-wired bypass which means more trouble shooting problems and processing of you pure guitar tone when the pedal is off.
Good points- It's really well built and heavy. Total control over a lot of effect parameters. Sounds great especially with a stereo rig. Flanger sound is designed to be a actual user friendly flanger. Chorus pedals are a dime a dozen and the chorus is very pretty.
What are you investing in when buying this pedal? An excellent flanger and an excellent chorus that was well thought out and very well built, user friendly and ear friendly. Psychedelic, not psychotic.
I am absolutely blown away by what this thing can do. It can go from subtle or deep fluid chorus to crazy over the top synth-like tones and there is a flanger side to the pedal as well! The change of the wave of the chorus or flanger was very ideal for me because the drift function allows a different wave selected randomly. This gives me the wild chorusing I was searching for.
The best part. The flanger is a pretty amazing and useful tool as well. It can go from the airplane flanger Mr. Big style all the way to utter alien ray gun battle. Very cool effect that I have used to spice up some metal solos and add more dimension to picked clean parts.
I am very satisfied with my purchase but with only a couple of small things to pay attention to. It's a digital pedal, not analog, so the pedal takes time from switching to chorus to flanger. A more analog design might warm it up too much to where you don't get the extra spice what it is designed for. Excellent pedal all around!

This pedal produced some excellent chorus and flanger sounds, I've mainly used it for chorus and, to date, only on my synths. I've been really impressed by the range of chorus sounds available and the tweakability of those sounds - the pots are dual-concentric, so it's a buy-one-get-one-free affair in terms of pedal real estate. It's probably fiddly live, which is why Digitech are giving you a rubber cover for the knobs, which implies that you set it and leave it - you just stomp it on and off.
The flanger is impresive too, although I haven't used that one quite as much yet. For some lead sounds it adds a nice metallic edge, which works well.
Overall, it's a really nice digital chorus pedal and I've been really pleased with it. It's heavy and robust and with stereo in and out fitted into what I wanted perfectly. It's used fully stereo with the Polara reverb and a TC Electronic Flashback and the three of them give me a great stereo path.
This is quite expensive for what it is. The pedal is very well made and sturdy, managing to take a bit of a beating on my part over the year I had it in my possession before resale. Despite being knocked about I managed to sell it on for a fair amount due to it's good build and solid frame.
This is very much a gateway chorus/flanger. If you've tried others you won't get too much enjoyment out of this.
Things to be aware of:-
There is a significant delay when switching from Chorus to Flanger. Not really a problem but best to know.
Some folk have experienced popping noises when using the foot switch but I have to say not me.
The writing is so small.
You get nothing in the box but the pedal, no warranty, no handy settings or manual. However this is all available online.
The sounds are great but it can go from cool to wacky in a very short time. Works well with acoustic guitars.
