A story as beautiful, as it is heart-rending... the author brings forth emotional elements that truly make this story what it is... a soul-stirring journey of the heart~ through courage, strength, forgiveness and love. A Goodreads reviewer.

A very heart-warming and emotional novel about the never-ending love of family and friends and forgiveness. Everyone should read this book. A Goodreads reviewer

I can't even begin to say how emotionally involved I became and how much I loved all of the characters. Completely and utterly this has touched my heart. The unexpected twists are utterly brilliant, just when you least expected it, another emotional layer gets added to the story. The beautiful details of the setting compliments the story and the whole package is absolutely spectacular! A Goodreads reviewer.

.This book is a story of loss, but with a beautiful ending of finding closure, finding yourself and finding the strength to carry on. I absolutely adored this story and every thought it provoked. A Goodreads reviewer

5.0 out of 5 stars A Poignant Story
By Debb H/MrsBumbles on July 27, 2020
Alison Ragsdale's latest masterpiece "dignity & grace" is a 5 ⭐ deeply emotional and poignant story of family secrets, love, loss and forgiveness. Set in Scotland, with beautiful and vivid descriptions, I guarantee following Iona on her journey of discovery and understanding will be an experience you won't soon forget. Truly one of those books that at times I experienced the raw emotions and had to close my eyes and just digest for a bit.
Thank you Alison for trusting me with your Book Baby in the form of an ARC. She's beautiful! Well done! ❤️ I loved this book so much I purchased it for my Kindle!

5.0 out of 5 stars A soul stirring read!!!
By ReenaG on February 26, 2021
This is the first book I have read by this author and certainly won’t be the last one. It is a wonderful story set in beautiful Scotland as the backdrop. The characters fit in well with the story and seem very real and believable. I enjoyed taking the emotional journey with Iona Muir who is out in search of the secrets about her mother. A story of family, loss, forgiveness and hope will touch the hearts of many. It left me thinking of what the true meaning of FAMILY is. The essence of the book is captured in the quote “Music is enough for a lifetime but a lifetime is not enough for music”-Sergel Rachmainoff.
Thank you Alison Ragsdale for your giveaway on She’s Reading With Kellie Facebook page. I truly devoured this book and am looking forward to reading many more books by you.
