Great manifier for sewing. My only trouble is the clamp is so hard to open and use easily. I don't have the hand strength. I've gotten around it by using the bendable arm to wrap it around the back of a chair and rest the v of the clamp against a slat for security.

I wanted to use this for computer builds since I had Lasik My near sight is down some.
1. The controls should be closer to the magnifying glass. Not 1/3 away from it. Ideally the controls should be just below the glass.
2. It is a little small and even on Max setting doesn't give off a lot of light. I end up needing My overhead, a lap, and a LED light to blast My room to see what I'm doing inside a case.
3. The clamp is OK for desk use but not ideal for computer case work.
