Editorial Reviews

Scotland Yard Commander Julie Hales has discovered that British diplomat Ian Porter has dangerous ties to a notorious Russian trafficker in heroin. But the stakes are raised when an attempt on Porter's life leads Hales to a terrifying new discovery: a nuclear bomb previously belonging to the Soviet Union is missing and in the hands of the enemy. Now, with time running out, a life-and-death race is on to uncover Porter's true involvement in a global conspiracy and to prevent a nuclear annihilation.

While I didn't find it as "boring" as the other review, it was somewhat slow. I think it would have been better had it been half the length. It is over 3 hours long. One word of warning to those in it for Claire Forlani's nude scene, for some reason they felt the need to edit it out. While most everything else remains intact. (Although, I never saw it on TV, so I don't know for sure)

If there is anything I hate its when a movie is unrated but edited anyway. The shower scene is edited to remove the nudity. Do not be mislead by the unrated status.
I would rather eat a veggie burger by mistake than buy this movie.

This is a must see film; the cast is made up of Europeans, mostly British and some other nationalities, and the acting is refreshingly different, as well as very well choreographed. The scripting or writing for this 3.5 hour movie is phenomenal, the plot equally so, and the dialogue is intriguing. It starts slow, but later proceeds with good speed, the technical aspects are well done, not like our American high budget films, but never the less very well done. The film takes on a "Bourne Indentity" style or back drop, with similar characters, however, still different from any of the "Bourne" films. The film embodies intelligence, action, and intimate drama, as well as exceptional ethics, in other words, there is a moral to the story..

I watched this movie online and it keeps you guessing until the very end. The real life husband and wife are perfect together on screen. I can only imagine what Scott was thinking when he shot a scene with Forlani towards the end of the movie. I do not want to give any spoilers. You will have to watch it to see. When you think you figured out what is going on with Scott's character you find out that you are totally wrong! I like movies like that, where you are stuck constantly guessing.
