I have always had the feeling that it is not necessary to have someone between you and the Divine and now with Andrew's book I have all the conformation necessary to move forward on the path that I felt was right for me as a child. The book consists of various exercises and techniques to accomplish this. However, most of his suggestions are simply a re-hash of ideas that have been around and promoted since the start of the New Age in the sixties. Nothing new there then.
But worst of all is the academic style of the text. If you are just Joe Bloggs, you will find it very intellectual and hard going. He doesn't seem to realize that not everyone has had the same experiences as he has. Basically, he shows an extreme lack empathy for the common man or woman.
It is strange that he rejected his guru, and the guru system, but now wants to play guru himself. A psychiatrist might diagnose an inflated ego.
