Like others have stated, this works great with Police Scanners (I have a BCD536HP) connecting to the MARCS system in Ohio and I would imagine other digital trunking systems. It also has greatly helped with, and almost but not completely eliminated simulcast distortion. I used to get a fluctuating signal, but now it’s a steady 5 bars. I’m about 14 miles from the tower and 60 feet lower in elevation. I am using this indoors near the ceiling of a 1 story apartment.

works for verizon band 13
I purchased this antenna as a spare to take on camping trips.Originally I purchased a complete kit from anntlent however could not find just the antenna offered by itself.This antenna works from 698mhz and up and is required to work with verizon 4g lte.Some antennas sold start at 806mhz and are not designed for verizons lte band.I mounted the antenna as shown in the picture for a test and it worked fine.This antenna has a short coax piece with an "N" type female connector.It will require a separate cable sold by the same seller listed as 49.2' in length.This cable has an "N" type male connector on one end and an SMA male connector on the other which screwed into the Anntlent booster as shown in the third picture.The coax cable was around $20.

FCC Amateur extra here. I give it two stars because it's resonant at 50ohm from approx 800-900mhz. Not even close for anything outside that range. Your feedline and type N connectors will cost more than this junk. Too bad it doesn't work as advertised. Nothing out there is going to match a 40:1 SWR or remediate a 0db RL. Going back to Amazon.
