By no means am I comparing this to a real vacuum.. but if you use it correctly it could totally replace one :)
Though I have to say, for such an inexpensive vacuum, it sure does do the job good. Much better than more expensive stick vacs I have used in the past. I was impressed by how much was picked up not only from the floors, but from the area rugs, also. Our dog sheds very badly and we also have a cat. Yet, it picked up all the fur that had accumulated on the rugs. I was also able to use the handheld vac to nicely clean our upholstery. It is very lightweight, which is another plus, I can even hold it up with one finger. Though I did notice that the unit seems to get pretty hot to the touch very quickly, after just 10 minutes of use. Hopefully this will not turn into an issue in the future. It is very compact, easy to store and also easy to switch between the different attachments. Overall very happy with our purchase, will update if anything changes.
Update: As mentioned in my initial review, the unit overheats after 10 minutes of use. I was concerned that this would be an issue and, unfortunately, it was. I was using it for longer than the usual quick 10 min and it overheated and completely gave out on me. Now it will not turn on at all. Very upset by this, only used it a few times and now I'm left without a vacuum. I suppose this vacuum is good for quick cleanups, as it cannot handle any more than that.

Assembly: It was easy. I could finish within 5 minutes. I hardly has anything complicated part. Only alignment that you need to consider is during assembly of the handle. Make sure that rod is firmly placed in between crevices of two pieces of covers - one at the bottom and the other at the top. 5/5 for assembly.
Filter: I have some reservations about the filter. It looks really flimsy and weak. I washed it today and I am now waiting for it to dry to see difference in suction. Filter score 3/5
Noise: It is louder than Bissell that I use. Has higher pitch sound and my son does not really like it. So looses mark. I mark it 3.5/5
Suction: For some reason, I feel Bissell did better job than this one. I bought it because my Bissell broke. I wouldn’t say I am excited with its suction power. I would give 3/5 for suction.
Suction head design: I feel the suction head leaves too much space from the floor. Rollers on its head seem to be oversized because of which I do not get a feeling that its close enough to clean all dirt from the floor or carpet.
Hard-floor Cleaning: Average cleaning. Compared to Bissell, I think its 0.5 mark less than what it should do. Picks up dirt and some hair from the floor. I am not completely happy with it though because the opening on its suction head is so small that suction power is not enough to collect pieces of cereal and biscuits at one go and have to roll over the area multiple times. 3.5/5 on this.
Carpet Cleaning: I have a light carpet / rug in my common room where children love to play and eat sometimes. They spread pieces of food all around like feeding birds in a zoo. I tried vacuuming this morning but did not quite pick up small pieces. It rolls easy on carpets but did not impress me with cleaning. 2.5/5
Design and color: I like its design though and plastic material seem durable. However, power cord is rough and not as smooth as I expected so while rolling on its handle to store it away, it takes more time than usual. 4/5
Power switch: I don’t understand why they put sliding power button. I am well accustomed to flip switch. Even my wife complained about the switch and found it rathe inconvenient.
Additional dirt removal parts: This model came with additional part that can be used to clean dirt from small crevice or in between sofa/couch pieces. I find this feature great so giving 5/5 which was a great surprise for me.
From my experience using this vacuum, I do just moderately recommend this product but not strongly. At price point of $58 I expect more to be delivered than just simple dirt pick which other vacuum in the range of $25 could easily do. My overall rating for this is 3.5/5. The bottom line is I am not impressed for the price I paid for the features I got.
Otherwise, this is a handy little electric broom/stick vacuum. It sucks well, assembles easily, and emptying is simple.
