BUYER BEWARE!!! I own a true The Dirt brand tongue scrapper and the product you receive from this listing is not it! The tongue scrapper that I received is a cheap imitation product, not an actual thick, copper scrapper. It’s flimsy and much smaller. Worse yet, it’s not eligible for return because the seller knows that they are lying! I am very disappointed and frustrated that I spent my money on this. I’m sure it’s the same product as the $1-$2 tongue scrappers that you can buy, not the more expensive one that this is advertised to be.

I've used tongue scrapers (copper and other materials) before so I'm familiar with how to use them, etc. After using this once, I had a sore throat and mouth pain for days. At first I thought I was getting sick, but I had no other symptoms. I linked it back to this and immediately tossed it in the trash. Unsure if this is real copper or contaminated with something or what but yikes.

I love it! I've been using a tongue scraper since I was first introduced to them decades ago (back in the 80s). Once you see the gunk that comes off your tongue first thing in the morning, and knowing that it's bacteria that you are going to wash down with your morning coffee/water/tea is probably going to gross you out to the point that you will want to keep using it. That's what happened to me anyway. It's so much nicer having a clean fresh mouth in the morning. I've always had metal tongue scrapers, and they have always lasted me a good long time. The last one I had was made of copper and lasted for over a decade. But it was finally wearing and the metal was starting to tear near the middle. I could still use it just fine but was afraid that at some point it would break, leaving me without a tongue scraper. This tongue scraper took a little getting used to because it's much thicker than what I'm used to. I'm used to a thinner edge to really scrape with. But I think with just an adjustment to the angle I use it at I've gotten used to it and I think it's just as effective as my previous copper tongue scraper. But this one is much thicker on the curved scraping edge. Given my track record of how long these things last me I'm sure this will last for at least 20 years. I'm not kidding. Totally worth it for the price, the health benefits (not swallowing the gazillion bacteria that are hanging out on your tongue every morning) and the feeling of freshness.

I had always heard that a tongue scraper was better at getting rid of bacteria on one's tongue but I never bought one, just brushed my tongue with a toothbrush. Finally I bought this scraper to see if it was really better and I liked the idea of the antimicrobial copper. I've been using it a couple of times a day for a week or so and I can honestly say I now know the difference. It really works! It can scrape farther back on the tongue than I could get with a brush and it gets more "scum" off than brushing alone. My mouth feels cleaner and my breath is fresher. Coffee would stain my tongue so much so that I felt that it was (even after brushing) giving me terrible coffee breath for hours and staining my teeth which I was constantly trying to keep white. The tongue scraper removes the coffee stained scum so I no longer have these issues. I'm really happy I bought this scraper on a whim and I know it has truly become part of my daily routine.

I recommend getting a stainless steel scraper. Mine oxidized within a week and developed a dark coating I couldn't remove or clean off completely. It had a funky taste after it oxidized. I tried returning the product on Amazon but it turns out this product cannot be returned so I ended up throwing mine away after 2 weeks of use. What bummer.

This little baby really works! It seems to have a softer side and a more aggressive side. It definitely gets the job done. I would recommend it without hesitation.
And I especially love the bag that it came in. The "WARNING" is something that people don't normally read, so when I did (just because I do that sort of thing) and saw that it started with "Continued use may cause your breath to become insanely fresh, which may lead to increased make out sessions,..." I couldn't help but laugh out loud. You'll have to buy the product to read the rest. Too funny! I love a product that is distributed by real people, and this one definitely is going by the WARNING on the bag.

Is this pure copper? I bought 3 for me and the kiddos. All three oxidized and changed colors after first use, but then the metal started flaking off in small sheets on two of them. Can't be returned, can't be used. Wasted money. Should have listened to the negative reviews.

I was having a bothersome issue with my tongue called "geographic tongue"- it was all patchy and some parts were red, some white, and sometimes it was flared up and really hurt. My dental hygienist suggested that I stop using my toothbrush to clean my tongue (like I have been doing my whole life) but to try a tongue scraper. After reading the glowing reviews, I decided to try this one. I really notice a difference in the first week of using it- my tongue looks much more like a normal, healthy tongue and it doesn't hurt! My mouth feels cleaner too. I like the antimicrobial copper material rather than plastic and supporting a small business is also a big plus for me!
