I am a serious reader of M/M erotic romance novels, reading 4 or 5 a week, so I feel that I am in a position to say that Dirty Dining is one of the 10 best novels in this genre. It is so good that I am likely to reread just for the pure pleasure of it, although I have virtually over 100 books in my Kindle waiting to be read. I am so impressed by this book, that I now intend to read all of her previous ones. This story is tantalizing from the first page to the last. Others have spelled out the plot in detail, so I will only say that Remy (Jeremy) a PHD candidate who is working in a lab to perfect an immunization against HIV/AIDS, and Brice (Mr. Green) who works as an attorney for a venture capital firm, seem like a very unlikely combination, especially because Brice thinks that Jeremy is just sex worker at the Dinner Club, where the waitstaff is required to remove an article of clothing with each course until they are all completely naked. However, this develops into one of the most beautiful love stories with more sexually titillating scenes that I have read in recent memory. EM has not made the same mistake many writers in this genre have made. Most of them if they write about sex workers or strippers give you only a peek behind the scenes whereas EM allows us to see everything that is going on as the boys are getting ready to serve and of course what happens in the front of the house during several dinners, not to mention what occurs in the private rooms after dinner where anything goes if the customer and his server agree. This book is pure joy, so you don't want to miss it. Buy it, read it and splurge in its delightfulness.

My Review:
I read a review of this book this morning from a fellow reviewer who said you either love or hate this book, there doesn't seem to be much middle ground. She hated it. BUT I loved it. This story totally worked for me and I thought it was incredibly hot and sexy.

Jeremy is a grad student working and doing research for an HIV vaccine. He's a typical college guy in that there's never quite enough money and the fact that he works under a grant makes his situation all the more scary because his funding can disappear at any point. He's approached at his gym and offered a job to come work at the Dinner Club. The only thing he has to do is be willing to take off his clothes. He's not interested at first, but a series of bad luck changes his mind.

The thing that works so well in this book is that both Brice and Jeremy are completely uncomfortable with the entire situation. Neither of them are used to this kind of circumstance and while they are incredibly turned on by it, that doesn't mean they don't question, constantly, wth they are doing here. For me, that made this whole book work for me. I loved them and their immediate connection even in these bizarre circumstances.

The relationship slowly builds up...something else you wouldn't expect that you could do with the general set-up of the story, but I really admire the way EM Lynley designed how the club works and these guy's reaction to it all. It worked for me. The only thing I didn't like was where Brice worked...besides Ron, there were some real jerks working there, but I guess that's also reality for a lot of people.

This book worked for me and I'm begging... PLEASE, EM Lynley, write a book for Sky Blue! I'm completely intrigued by him and want to know more. PLEASE!!

I thought the concept of this book, a PhD student strapped for cash moonlighting as a sex worker meets rich boyfriend/love of life was unique. It was interesting. The build up between Mr. Green (Brice) and Jeremy was sexy. The color coding of the gentlemen and the "rules" of the club were fun and inventive, although a bit flexible to fit the story line. This was distracting.

The one fundamental flaw with the book as I saw it was Jeremy's behavior. I simply found it unbelievable that a researcher engaged in HIV research would engage in high-risk (unprotected oral) with men he met through a thinly veiled prostitution ring. The author doesn't even mention his being tested or if the clients are screened as part of participating in the club. Seems like this would be a big concern for someone spending their days trying to reduce the incidence of HIV.

I usually read good MM romance in one sitting, often staying up late to do so. This one I had no problem putting down well before bedtime. Granted, I did pick it back up again and the ending was satisfying enough. In summary, not one I'll read again.

4.5 Stars !!!

The premises of this book is really interesting and the story keeps you wanting to read without stopping.

Jeremy Linden’s a PhD student researching an HIV vaccine.

Brice Martin is an attorney for a Silicon Valley venture capital firm.

Jeremy needs to find a second job to be able to keep up with his expenses and decides to take an opportunity at the Dinner Club ... Serving gentlemen and taking his clothes off. Anything else is up to him.

The first time and night he meets Brice, who's there with a coworker.
They are fascinated with each other...

Jeremy and Brice start taking the meetings outside of the Dinner Club doors, risking breaking the rules... But they can't resist each other ... They can't resist the feelings they are developing.

When Brice makes a decision that affects Jeremy's research and the confession of their line of work comes out the relationship between them changes ... The results were devastating.

Brice tries to do everything possible to save and help Jeremy ... The results ... Beautifully designed for a romantic rescue.

This story is full of hot ... hot sexy scenes ... Laughter between the Dinner Club boys and promises of a forever...

The author also reinforces the story with the technical aspect of both Jeremy and Brice's professions ... The way it's done keeps you interested.

Well done!
