The interactions between Ty and Brook were realistic, if predictable. Unfortunately, at times their banter became banal. And the sex scenes, though interesting at first, became routine. Maybe that's because they seemed to be lifted straight from the pages of “the romance writer's guide to describing hot sex.” Does such a book exist? I honestly don't know, which is why it's not capitalized, but I'm beginning to suspect it may. Whatever the case, for such a new relationship, that was a bit sad.
Despite what sounds like a negative review, I enjoyed the story enough that I'm looking forward to reading the next book in the series. I think this is worth reading. Just don't expect any earth-shattering revelations on the meaning of life. I received an ARC in exchange for my honest review.
Best friends tend to stick together. Brook's marriage isn't your typical unhappy relationship. Wife and step mom of a teen at 19 then shortly after her wedding, her new husband bails on her and his kid. Chelsea and Delaney are her closest friends and have relationship problems of their own. Well, the lack there of being the problem. They say, "it's a small world," and as their worlds intertwine, they see just how small the world really is.

The reason I even noticed this book was its great blurb. I just knew I had to have it. This was my first book Cassandra and most certainly will not be my last. If I did not have such a tight review schedule right now, I would download all be books and dive right in.
This book starts out with the female lead Brook Robinson out to dinner and drinks with her best friends Delaney and Chelsea about sex. I could totally picture myself out having drinks and talking about some of this craziness myself.
Brook Robinson aka Mrs. Robinson needs help to track her worthless of a husband down so she can finally divorce him. Little did she know it would be a boy she once knew as her stepsons best friend. Only Ty Jameson is no longer a kid. He is a super sexy alpha who has crushed on her for years.
One of the best parts of this book was that Ty was a super hot dominate alpha but he was also an insecure man when it came to hurting people he loved feelings. It showed his age and he grew throughout this book into a man any woman could see herself with.
Brook has never known love or what she would like in the bedroom. She wanted both and exploring things with Ty let her know just what all she had been missing out on in life. I loved how Ty could get her all worked up as fast as she could him. They were a great couple.
After this book, I cannot wait to dive into the next two books. This book was fun and refreshing and I cannot wait for more.
I loved Ty from the second he entered the picture and couldn't get enough of him. There is a man who is sex on a stick through and through and I would have happily read about him for ages.
I loved the relationship between all the girls. It was so well thought out and the humor seemed to just come naturally. Sometimes I find that I find the humor in books forced, but I didn't feel that way at all with this one. I literally busted out laughing quite a few times while reading.
Overall this was a great, quick read that had good flow, witty one liners, and blow you away chemistry!
