I didn't like this one as much as the "Melancholy" and "Disappearance of Haruhi" installments. There are some funny Kyon moments, but otherwise, I was pretty bored. I hate romantic comedies and got this one knowing full-well this is one. I just expected more, I guess.
I think that this version of Yuki is what I disliked most.

For those who were intrigued by Yuki's vibe in the main anime series and felt for the shy Yuki in the alternate universe of the Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya should enjoy this spin off series. For me, I wanted to find out more about this alternate universe and shy Yuki and I was not disappointed. I like this alternate take on the characters. The personality traits and quarks of each character is mostly the same with no supernatural powers. The character designs is a little different but not a big deal to me and each character is still recognizable from the main series. This is a light hearted series of Yuki, her shyness and her friends as they go about their daily school lives and the situations they share. The characters have cutesy moments which suits this series. Kawaii!! If you are expecting the supernatural stuff from the main series then chances are this spin off is not for you, but if you just want to immerse yourself in this alternate universe then I think you should find it an enjoyable watch. I hope they make more episodes.

edit: Rescored by adding an extra star. Like with the Haruhi series, I find myself always coming back to watch this spin off series.

I just fountdit so enjoyable to watch and packed full of good storytelling and humour. I now watch it and am tempted to just pop it in to watch again. It has about 3 or 4 story threads .. Christmas Party, Valantines Day, Trip to a Resort, Nagato story, and the love story wrap up. All very good. I would recommend it for sure.
