Editorial Reviews
Review
"The new version of Cress's translation of Descartes's Meditations has attained an unusually high degree of readability . . . and, at the same time, of fidelity to the original. This combination . . . makes the work especially suitable for classroom use." —Roger Ariew, University of South Florida, and Marjorie Grene (1910-2009), Virginia Polytechnic Institute
"An excellent edition and the price is fair." —Alan Soble, University of New Orleans

- Reviewed in the United States on February 13, 2025Hackett puts out a solid product as usual. I wish this was cheaper, considering Plato's Five Dialogues has more pages and costs a few dollars less.
- Reviewed in the United States on February 2, 2014I actually purchased this book from Amazon instead of one of their Marketplace vendors and was quite happy with the process. I ordered her college books about two weeks before spring classes began and this one was waiting for her when she arrived at school. That has not always proven to be the case.
