Discover This explores several types of arguments for the validity of Torah, including the distinctive nature of the Jewish experience at Mount Sinai, the contradictory nature of Jewish survival, and historical safeguards for the accuracy of Torah scrolls. Gluckin also does a good job of introducing in an engaging way ideas and history of the highly-publicized (and ultimately very technical) case for the plausibility of letter sequences meaningfully encoded in Torah. The second edition has added detail in that codes chapter and has a reduced price, making the book an even better value. Discover This is an enjoyable, fascinating vehicle to consider the extent intellectual arguments can supplement, strengthen, or clarify one's connection to Judaism and will appeal most to those actively engaging intellectual arguments why it's not so crazy in today's times to consider Torah reliable and relevant.
