Editorial Reviews
Review
Terms are well defined and one is pleased with the crisp, direct description of the arguments. The tone of the book is one which keeps the reader interested and challenged. This is the right book for those seeking, but even Christians can have their minds and hearts enlightened by some of the topics in this volume.. . .it does an admirable task of covering many of the current questions that inquirers may have. It is a gateway book for questioners of the faith. That is how impressed I am with the message and structure of this book. It is an excellent tool! - --Donald K. Wood, M.D. for The Journal of the Christian Medical and Dental Society
From the Author
Based on this book and its forerunner I have received literally hundreds of emails from strangers saying something to the effect, "I've never believed in God until now. But after reading this book...." It's amazing to think that most agnostic or atheistic people are completely unaware of the main reasons for faith!
From the Inside Flap
"God used this book to reach me at the lowest, darkest time in my life. It answered questions I have always had about God and the Bible, but written with the common man in mind. I highly recommend this book for anyone who is seeking to discover God." - Conrad Hilario

I loved this book! Well written and one of my most hi lighted books ever. Useful arguments for the existence of the God I love, made this book something I'd recommend to friends that are believers and non believers alike. Many the non believer sees a new perspective? I would easily read McCallums work again.

While not a Mere Christianity, Discovering God is a thoughtful look at God, faith and humanity. It will give you a reasonable look at Faith, which is a beginning. This would be helpful to so many American Christian's who have not grown in the Faith. Also helpful for young people heading off to life.

McCallum fluidly writes a great book about discovering God through Christ. He allows scripture to demonstrate internal evidence and also using external evidence as well. Particularly enjoyed "The Party" in relation to our own lives. Highly recommend this book!

Great book for a spiritually interested but not convinced person. Also good for skeptics!!! Logical, intellectual, but readable for the average person. I regularly use this book to help explain the plausibility of chrisitanity to people. Also awesome as a faith building book for people who are already Christians

This a great start to exploring the intellectual viability of the Christian faith. The author does a particularly excellent job walking through the role of fulfilled prophecy in validating the message of Jesus and the reliability of the Bible. In addition, it is a short read! Well done...

"Discovering God" is a great book for the seeker learning more about the evidence for God and the Christian faith, and the Christian believer who is looking for solid reason for their faith. This is the perfect book to give a friend who is seeking for answers about God and Christianity. It's a quick read, and can be read front to back in a few hours. I have a few copies on hand ready to give to people who show interest in learning more about God. This book has also been a great reference to the big questions, like: Biblical validity, prophecy, problem of evil, other religions and many more. I own the Kindle copy of this book on my iPod touch, and bust it out whenever I have a thought about a big question. A must have!
