I've played the first two Dishonored games extensively, I'm definitely a fan. My girlfriend preordered this on Amazon Prime for my birthday. It's not a full game like the first two... Hence the cheaper price. It's totally worth it! If you're familiar with Dishonored 2, you play as Billie Lurk, the former owner of the Dreadful Whale. In the third installment, you set out to eliminate the Outsider, and with some awesome powers to boot! After playing through the first time, you'll unlock powers from Dishonored 2! The game feels familiar to me, being you revisit certain locations from Dishonored 2, it is still fresh and fun. My initial reaction as a huge fan of the series, was that of great joy! In other words, they didn't screw it up. I've read that they won't be doing more Dishonored games, hope it's not true. Lots of variety in these games by Arkane Studios! The gameplay, graphics and sounds in this game, is top notch. Always exciting kills and a slew of options on how to deal with soldiers! The game is about 5 levels, with several side missions each level. When I first played through, I just wanted to see the ending. Now, it's fun to go back and complete the side missions. An excellent game and story. If you're a fan of the series, you'll be satisfied!!

    Very challenging, even for experienced Dishonored players (especially finding all the Bonecharms). Level design is outstanding. The new powers are an excellent progression from D1 and D2. The "contract jobs" are a nice addition also, similar to the side quests in Far Cry. Even though it's meant to be a big DLC, I've got over 20+ hours in my first playthrough, and I will definitely play it again (I tend to be an "explore every single thing" player). Multiple areas, especially the bank, will have a completely different experience based on key decisions you make. Dishonored 1 (and its DLCs) is absolutely my favorite game, and I thought D2 was outstanding. This stand-alone DLC is the same quality, and includes some nice advances in gameplay design.

It's a bit on the short side, I'd say about 60-70% the length of the Knife of Dunwall and Brigmore Witches DLCs (combined) from the first game. Even so, the story is absolutely fantastic and the gameplay is delightful as always. Given the already lower price point which is sure to drop more (especially for used copies) as time goes on, it shouldn't put much of a dent in your wallet either. Overall, I can't recommend it enough.

    Death of the Outsider is a disappointing end to the Dishonored series. Focusing on the uninteresting characters of Daud and Billie Lurk, you fumble through environments that suceed in feeling less alive than those of Dishonored 2, to a plot that is clumsy and uninteresting.

    Gameplay is largely the same. Different powers, but they're not all that different from the powers you've had in the other games.
