I didn't really think this would make so much of a difference from the dishwasher tabs I have used in the past (the green box brand). I was totally wrong. The smell is gone and it's shiny! The bottle says to run the cycle on the highest temperature, so I ran it on a heavy load with hi temp. Can't say I'm disappointed at all for $4
