This Christmas story collection contains the following:

~Ralph & Vanellope plan a holiday party for all the video game baddies...very cute. No Felix & Calhoun, sadly.
~A Lightning & Mater "Gift of the Magi" tale--also cute. Nice to see a few of the other Radiator Springs residents ('specially Flo!)
~Rapunzel is terrified of Christmas because Mother Gothel made it out to be scarier than Halloween--ha! Clever. So Eugene (WHY do they refer to him as Flynn?!?!?) shows her what it's really all about, and in the end she winds up falling asleep on top of him--n'aawww. How sweet.
~The best one, of course, is Frozen's entry. Feeling guilty about the past, Elsa goes overboard trying to make the holiday awesome for Anna--to the point of again turning her away constantly because she doesn't want the surprise to be spoiled. Ultimately, they get into a snowball fight--which, luckily for Anna, Elsa plays fair--and spend some quality time together.

Very nice illustrations, as usual. Some of the Frozen ones were reused for the Christmas easy-reader. As usual in Disney storybooks, nothing majorly important is revealed, but this one is actually worth reading for a solo adult fan, and certainly a nice treat for the holiday season.

The Kindle version does not contain 304 pages as currently stated--it has 4 stories versus 18 in the hardcover edition. That means it is currently more per story than the hardcover edition (plus I wanted more stories to enjoy with my kids--lol). Not a bad price, but not what is described--they are NOT the same book.

Thankfully, I had no problem returning the story (yay Amazon) and ordering the hardcover, which I hope to enjoy soon.

I hate putting a low star rating when I anticipate we will enjoy the stories, but it was the only way to alert other customers to this fact. Hopefully Amazon will unlink these books and correct the page description soon.

My preschooler and I both enjoyed reading these Christmas-themed stories featuring beloved Disney characters, but like a previous reviewer has mentioned, some of the illustrations are not up to standard. These illustrations are not clear (with a faded like appearance), lack definition, and sharpness. In contrast, some others are beautiful to look at - with the image quality appearing clear and sharp. The stories are generally quite well-written and manage to integrate the Christmas theme beautifully. The stories in this collection are:
A Toy Christmas from Toy Story
Christmas Under The Sea from The Little Mermaid
Mickey's Christmas Carol from Mickey Mouse
One Cool Yule from The Aristocats
The Sweetest Christmas from Winnie the Pooh
The Wonderful Winter Tree from Bambi
A Christmas to Remember from Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs
The Best Christmas from Dumbo
Christmas Laughs from Monsters, Inc
A Merry Christmas for Mice from Cinderella
A Big Blue Christmas from Finding Nemo
Lady's Christmas Surprise from Lady and the Tramp
The Enchanted Christmas from Beauty And The Beast
Flik's Christmas Invention from A Bug's Life
Christmas for Everyone from Robin Hood
The Perfect Gift from Pinocchio
A Gift for Wall-E from WALL-E
The Puppies' First Christmas from 101 Dalmatians

On the whole - value for money collection of Christmas-inspired stories featuring familiar and beloved Disney characters. Recommended!

Huge disappointment. Listed as 300+ pages; the kindle version is only 38. I would not have purchased this book had the information been correctly listed. My granddaughter finished this in less than a half hour. What a wasted of money. Be honest about book sizes, Amazon.

I was so excited to receive this book after seeing Elsa and Anna on the cover! However, once I opened it the disappointment set in. If you have the Christmas book just like this released a few years ago, these are the exact same stories, maybe only four of them are new. So now I have basically two of the exact same book, just different covers. Yes the new stories are cute, but it's hard to overlook the fact that 90% of the book is repeated stories that we already own!!

I'm rating this storybook three stars because of the great integration between classic Disney holiday stories and original stories featuring favorite Disney characters. Sadly aside from the compilation of stories and the fact that this book is hardcover, that's where the comparison ends between this edition and other Disney story collections. The main thing that threw me off was the fact that NONE of the illustrations are cohesive. It's obvious that some drawings were 3rd and 4th rate. Then, with a new story, the pictures were beautiful and full of true color as should be expected from a name like Disney. Thankfully my preschooler is just happy having another book to choose from for storytime. Although she too has commented on how some characters look "weird" in the book.

I absolutely love these Disney Storybook collections books. We have several different ones, and my 3 and 5 year olds absolutely love them!

This book is a high quality hard back with a few hundred pages. It has 18 different stories in this one book - what a great value! The stories are all Christmas themed and feature 18 different Disney movie classics. There is a great mix of princess and other stories, so both boys and girls would enjoy this book. I've included a pic of the table of contents so you can see which stories are featured.

These stories each take several minutes to read. If you have little ones who love books and love to read, these are great. They're definitely not for anyone who won't sit through more than a simple board book. There are lots of words on each page, and several pages per story. They make great bedtime stories.

The illustrations are wonderful, as Disney usually is. They look just like the characters from the movies.

Overall I would highly recommend this book (or any of the Disney Storytime Collections books!). This one is great for the holidays, but my daughter loves to read them all year long. The stories themselves are really cute and sweet with a good heartwarming ending. They're definitely entertaining for their projected audience!
