Mickey Mouse Waffle Maker
A waffle maker designed for all your Mickey Mouse waffle needs.
Got a craving for those legendary Mickey Mouse waffles? Kids still talking about them? Here's a (not-so-well-kept) secret: now you can have them whenever you want, as many as you want. Isn't that swell?
Nonstick Baking Plates
Spray, pour, bake, serve, yum. Our nonstick baking plates make it easy to turn out breakfast for an army of Disney fans. Clean up with a few swipes of a damp cloth, and you're ready to go again.
Power Indicator Light
It's charming and cute - but also useful for letting you know when the waffle maker is plugged in and hot. Safety first!
Perfectly shaped Mickey waffles every time. Top with fruit, syrup, chocolate, butter, whipped cream, cherries - separately or all at once.
Recipe Idea: Buttermilk Waffles!
1. Preheat waffle maker.
2. In medium sized mixing bowl whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt and sugar.
3. In separate bowl, beat together eggs and melted butter. Add buttermilk.
4. Add wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until combined.
5. Allow to sit for 4 to 5 minutes.
6. Add 1/2 cup waffle mixture to the waffle maker and close the lid.
7. Bake between 2 and 4 minutes, using a toothpick to check that the waffle is thoroughly cooked. Makes 8 to 10 waffles.
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 3 eggs, beaten
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cups buttermilk
Serve Mickey Mouse waffles to the kids and the kids at heart with the classic Mickey waffle maker. Bakes an approximately 7" waffle in the shape of Mickey. The nonstick coating makes baking and clean up fun and easy. Even the indicator light adds a touch of fun in the shape of Mickey. The brushed stainless steel finish and laser etched logo bring a bit of elegance to the kitchen.

-It does make waffles.
-The Mickey face is both accurate and looks good when cooked according to the directions.
-The thinness of the waffles lets them cook faster
-Relatively easy to clean when you use some sort of cooking spray.
-The waffles turn out really thin and almost look like pancakes. We even tried overfilling to try and fluff them up a little but still thin.
-Most of the waffle makers I have used have some sort of indicator of when the waffle is done (light or beeping). This one does not. You can wait until it stops smoking, but you can't really walk away for any length of time after the first minute.
I think this is fun for the little ones and the Disney fans. I would buy it again. It doesn't make high quality waffles, but if you are not running a restaurant or a continental breakfast bar, then this will work just fine. Plus, if you are fixing waffles for more than a couple people, this lets you crank out a much faster waffle.
ps. Made with krusteaz buttermilk pancake mix preheated 3 minutes, sprayed griddle with original Pam non stick spray cooked 4 minutes worked great.
Now, regarding the idea that this is not a waffle iron but a pancake maker... I think that is not very fair. If you want gourmet waffles than buy a Belgium waffle iron. If you want super fun Mickey mouse waffles than buy this! You could not do both in one iron and the pictures are a good description of what you are going to be getting when you are done. Excellent definition and clear Mickey image. A squirt of release spray on the top and bottom and nothing stuck at all. If you want to know if the waffle is done just open the lid and take a peek. If you like them a wee bit crispier....just close her up again and go a it longer. Viola - crispy Mickey! The light on the front just tells you if it is on or off. This iron is not made by a crazy high end company like what you might find in beautiful kitchen boutique shop. It is a novelty item, but it performed beautifully for what we wanted it to do, we will now take it out occasionally for fun Saturday mornings and for the minimal use it will get I think it will do just fine. I would not have wanted to pay more for such a novelty.
In bowl combine 2 C. flour, 2 t. baking powder, 1 t. baking soda, and 1/2 t salt. In another bowl, combine 2 cups buttermilk, 3 large eggs and 1/2 stick melted butter. Mix the two together (don't over mix) and spread 1/3 cup on waffle iron coated with non-stick spray.
