The first game was great! My daughter played it constantly (to be honest, so did I). By when my son lost it, she opted to try this one instead of replacing the old one. Well, at 6, she was able to beat in with the first day of owning it. While she likes it, I think she likes the ability to "tink", which she loved in the first. But, you cannot make outfits or jewelry like you could in the first one. Because it was such as bust, I am going to buy the first one for her again. If they come out with a third version, I will wait for reviews before purchasing.

For those of you who loved the first Tinkerbell game, you will be disappointed in the second one. The game is able to be played in two different modes, one story mode and one fairy mode. The fairy mode is very much like the first game only this time you are able to be the type of fairy you want and then do little chores for other fairies. You also have a little house to decorate. It is very fun but they dumbed it down so much from the first game, if you are looking for a challenge, dont get the game. The story mode is INCREDIBLY simple. I was able to beat it in less than a hour. No challenge. No excitement. Very sad little game.

Thought that this game was going to be simple and easy for kids but you have to practically read throughout the whole game instead of actually playing the game. Price seems high also and I wouldn't recommend it for younger kids either because there isn't much of the game to play.

My daughter and I both love sitting down together and playing this. She loves getting new clothes, playing games, etc. You can keep on playing forever- there's really no end. My main complaint is the lack of talking. It is all reading, so I've spent alot of time reading the text to her. Overall, we love it!

The game is cute, it's not quite what I expected though. My 4 year old does need some assistance with it, which is fine. She loves tinkerbell, I'm sure it will be a little easier for her as she gets older.

I bought this for my 5 year old. She had a hard time figuring out how to do the adventure game but she loves getting to pick out the outfit and hair and stuff to design her own fairies. When the game comes on it doesn't say the instructions out loud, you have to read them so for my 5 year old (who can't read) this part was boring and I had to read them to her and she just got frustrated with me and skipped through them. Maybe in a year or two when she can read, the rest of the game will be fun too.

I thought that this game might be pretty good after reading the reviews, and I was right! My mom was letting me buy a DS game. So I got this one and it was great! I admit, it's pretty short, but still it's fun. In fairy mode, you design your own fairy, choose her talent, and help her get ready for the autumn festival (or whatever it's called). You get to make 5 fairies. I think that the best part is that you can go back and play minigames, collect materials, or make clothes and furniture even after you finish your mission. I also like that this game is exciting right from the beginning! In story mode, you play Tinkerbell and go on the adventure from the movie. When you're finished, you can go back and do it again or you can play the minigames again. And if you want to, you can delete one fairy and replay her story! This game is something I really enjoyed, even though it's nothing compared to the first game or the third game (Tinkerbell & Tinkerbell and the Great Fairy Rescue). Don't expect it to be anything like the others... but know that you're probably spending your money on something you're going to enjoy. And especially if you're a kid like me! Since I'm ten years old, this review should be pretty helpful to other kids. If you LOVED the movie or the novelization, like I did, or if you LOVE adventures, like me, you should like this game! So take my advice: buy this game. Or don't. I'm not putting pressure on anybody... BUT YOU SHOULD BUY THIS GAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Or you shouldn't. It's your choice.) (:

The first tinkerbell game went on and on and on and it was good! Fun.. this game there are two parts.. story mode and fairy mode.. I beat story mode in less than an hour.. way too simple.. the fairy mode you can make up to 5 fairies in different talents. you do a few things for other fairies and then your story is over.. then you get to do it all over again for another talent fairy.. the first one was developed so much better game play wise.. however, I do like the graphics and the different places in this one compared to the first one.. the movement isnt as much fun. I dont know.. high scores for tink game number one.. medium scores for tink game number 2.. I hope the 3rd one is much better.
