Even on the lowest setting it is too tall for them. Thankfully, it was a gift and I didn't waste any money on this one. But thought people should be aware of the height limitations on this seat.
My son is not considered small- at 7 months he is in 88% for his height.... His feet are 2 inches from the ground!
SO it's not that he is short.
A better option if you want to put your baby in a walker at 6 months is the chicco dj baby walker.

My 8 month old is 26.5 inches, a normal height and he is about 2 inches from being able to touch the ground. By the time he can touch the ground he will already be walking!Published on February 25, 2013 by Mercedes

My friend just bought me this piece of crap. It was very nice sentiment, but the baby can't touch the floor and the box says 4 month +. FAILPublished on November 2, 2012 by US Soldier
My daughter is 11 months old and still cannot touch the ground on the lowest level. She will be walking before she can touch, I don't think she is extremely short for her age... Read morePublished on August 17, 2012 by okim
I bought this product for my 29" tall son at age 6 months. He is unable to touch the ground except with his tippy toes, so all he can do is move backwards, not forwards! Read morePublished on July 11, 2012 by random consumer
