My son loved darthx and he got the figure along with Disney 3.0 for his birthday . It is exactly as expected , a cool action figure on a plastic base compatible with the Disney 3.0 game.

The figures are not platform specific, and can be used whether the version of the game you have is xbox one, olayatation, ect.

The one thing to know about the darth vader figure is thag he is not immediately usable with the game if it is brand new except for the toy box mode.To use this darth vader figure in the star wars based story mode you must collect an in game coin, which may take you an hour or two of game play ( which annoyed my 7 year old when it seemingly didn't work at first ).

Darth Vader is, genuinely, my favorite character. While on the slow side, he is so powerful that I've easily mowed through waves of powerful opponents within a matter of seconds! Rather than a force dash, his ranged attack is where he throws the lightsaber like a boomerang. It's a strong enough attack to send most enemies flying, and it's very accurate. He has a good super jump, and a finishing movie where he force chokes an enemy. I think it only works on one enemy at a time, but near as I can tell, you can just keep choking them until they're defeated. Or you can throw them to the side. His special move is where he throws out a huge shockwave. The longer you charge it, the more powerful it becomes and the bigger the explosion. He's right up there with Elsa and Sorcerer Mickey as the best character for combat in the series, so if you're having troubles with a combat oriented mission like the Jedi Temple Arena, he's your man.

This character is one of the more fun to play with. The saber throw is ridiculously powerful and fun to use, whereas I found his neck choke power to be slightly annoying to use and effective in only limited areas. From a speed perspective Vader is slow moving - don't expect a speed demon here. The light FX aspect of this figure is a nifty addition if it worked all of the time. Sometimes the light saber blinks on and off, which makes it just look goofy.

My son has been playing his 3.0 system for a couple of months now and is enjoying it immensely. He is a big Star Wars fan, so it is a given that this was going to be a favorite. The Darth Vader action figure is similar to all the other Infinity action figures. He has the typical attacks and defenses you would expect. The one interesting thing is that when you use his force move is sucks victims in towards him; instead of repelling them away (like Yoda).

If you are enjoying Infinity 3.0, then this figure is a must.

I decided to keep this particular series of figures attached to their cards and display them together on a wall in my home. The cards are all the same color scheme and size so they display very well.

Darth Vader has a dynamic pose and you see a character you know very well sculpted in a new and different way. I am in love with the style and design of this series.

I might just buy another round of this series to have one to hold and display that isn't on the card.

Love the Vader addition to our collection. His light saber throw is super powerful. I find myself using him exclusively and we've got around 20 of these characters. The figurine just looks bad-ass too. I sneak him out on the shelf and my wife yells at me. It's worth it though, he looks so cool! He's also got great quotes and sounds like James Earl.

This is awesome! I don't use this with the game. Got it to add to my Star Wars collection. Ordered it new but it came in a torn up, open box that was poorly taped together. I was able to light it up using the NFC on an older cell phone. Light saber wasn't as bright as I was hoping but still looked cool.

The game is fun, however Disney shut down the Infinity servers, so you can't do any of the online stuff anymore. My kids like playing as the different characters though, so if you can get them cheap, they are still fun to play!
