I'll admit, I'm not a huge fan of Peter Pan, but I do love all the Disney Fairy movies featuring Tinkerbell, so I jumped at the chance to dive back into Pixie Hallow with this manga. I loved it. Tinkerbell is so different in Pixie Hallow than she was with Peter Pan. I'm not certain why (although i suspect it had something to do with being able to understand her rather than having to hear Peter Pan's interpretation of her words).
That being said, I love the pixies of Pixie Hallow, especially Terrance, who's become Tink's best friend in my opinion. When Peter Pan cropped up again. I decided I still didn't like him in these versions. Still, the overall story was good, and I'd love to read more.
A new character is introduced in this manga. Terence is Tink's closest friend and he has a secret crush on her. Which is completely adorable!
I found the whole story to be very endearing. This was a fun and interesting read. I'm sure many kids will find it enjoyable.
Otherwise its a good book for kids and not for silly adults like me
