We just got this, and put it together, so I figured I'd review it. It wasn't difficult to put together, however, my canopy is NOT AS SHOWN. In this picture, you can clearly see the ties used to hold the "door" up and out of the way. On mine, there's two small squares of velcro, and the only piece of matching velcro that is feasible to hold it up is probaby 8 inches down, so it's not a nice tight roll. Even the instructions said to put something on the legs of the footboard/headboard, and we couldn't find those pieces anywhere, so we came to the conclusion that the directions were printed before they changed the design. Needless to say, it's put together, the loose floppy door is driving me nuts, but it seems sturdy, and, well, it's a bed. My son and our cat both hopped in there while I was trying to tuck the bedding we got to match in(no way will that ever fit in there nice and neat either lol) and my son(will be 2 in 2 months) laid down and told me night night and has been playing in it ever since. So it's a hit ;)

Update#1- Not ten minutes after I wrote the origianl review, I heard a thump and a wail from his bedroom. Upon invesigation, I discovered that he had tried to climb over the footboard and rolled when he was halfway over it, which ripped the ties(they're not long enough to go around ANY red part of the footboard, just barely enough to tie around the metal leg) right off, the plastic C ring popped off and the tension sprang it back into his midsection, which annoyed him. Had to take the tent off before we even had it a week. Don't pay extra for the tent, like we did- definitely not worth it. Get the 40 dollar regular bed instead. Also, if your child loves to play in tents, it makes the bed a play place, not a sleep place.

My son loves it! It's easy to get him to take naps in his big boy bed.

The tent pictured comes with the bed. The headboard, footboard and guardrails are made of a sturdy plastic and the frame is made of thick and sturdy metal bars. The metal bars are threaded into a blue canvas material to support the mattress. It holds a regular crib mattress snug, with no chance of a little foot or toy getting caught in between (although my son has managed to shove a Matchbox car in there with much effort).

The tent part is nice for novelty's sake, but it's probably going to come off soon- it's hard to put your sleeping toddler inside from the foot or head of the bed. There are only 2 stickers, as seen in the picture. I accidentally put both on the inside sections because I had expected 4 stickers.

Setup is fairly quick and easy. You'll need a screwdriver and that's it for tools. The instructions for the tent may be a bit confusing if you've never put a real tent together before, and if you have put one together, the tent is the "hardest" part!

our 14 month old boy loves his bed! We had it for a couple of months now and are very pleased with it so far.

The frame was easy to assemble, but the instructions for how to attach the tent part were very vague and i thought that some parts were missing (nothing was missing). A call to Delta customer service cleared up the confusion.

We had to take the tent part of it off because he was too excited and kept climbing in and out and tried to jump out (we will put it back on in a couple of years)

I bought this for my son since he isn't quite ready for a huge twin bed yet. I love the colors and the look of the bed, however the sides to the bed in my package would not even clip as stated in the instructions and prevents the bed from staying sturdy and looks horrible. The tent was missing pieces and kind of hard to read how to put together in the instructions. This is not a canopy bed so you do not need the canopy extensions, which should be written clearer in the instructions, since they don't tell you that you can put the tent bed together just as the regular toddler bed, which made things more confusing than it needed to be.

I would not buy this product again or recommend it in any way.

My son was VERY excited to get a new bed with a tent on top. Unfortunately, the joints for the tent broke within a few weeks. I tried to repair them on my own using my minimal skills with tape and glue, but they just wouldn't arch anymore. I just took it off of the bed and now it sits on top of the closet. I'm holding onto it because I keep telling myself I'll either figure out how to fix it, or buy some new plastic joints for it. I don't necessarily think the integrity of the product was completely the problem, combine the fragile plastic with the enthusiasm of a toddler with a new bed, who is also learning how to get in and out through the little door, and you're just asking for disaster. It was a lot of fun for him while it lasted, but knowing what I know now, I probably would have just gone with a less expensive bed and passed on the tent portion all together.

We bought this for our 2 year old grandson -- he likes the bed but the tent we had to remove as it was too hard to get into and he did not the enclosure feeling. Would recommend the bed but not the tent.

I absolutley love the thought in this bed. My 16 month old son LOVES it. It makes bed time fun! Reading some of the reviews I thought the tent wasn't sturdy but it actually is....my 16 month old hasn't been able to mess it up at all. LOVE!
