This is basically a bunch of the little thin story books combined into one large book. The hard back is thick and well bound and the pages are glossy, bright color, and thick. it is a well made book and truly a bargain (I got it for five bucks and it looks like you can ge them super cheap used at this time).

My five year old daughter who is in love with all the disney princesses loves flipping through the pages and asking me to read the stories, which are simple, but fun for that age group.

I appreciate the book because it is a storybook collection and minimizes clutter. Instead of a dozen small cheap storybooks, she has only one big storybook to put away. It made a good Christmas gift that has kept her attention for a month now, and I suspect will be beloved for many more months and maybe more to come.

My 4 year old daughter loved this book, I got her for her birthday. It has abbreviated stories of most Disney princesses - typically 1 story from original Disney movie (reduced to 10 pages), and 2-3 stories that were never in the movies.
The graphics are excellent, so it helps kids follow along with what you are reading. Because the cover is sturdy cardboard, after a year the book is still in great shape. The number of stories also allows for variety of things to be read at bedtime, particularly as each story takes 10-15 mins to be read to a child which is a good duration for bedtime.
While overall princess theme is not very intellectually stimulating, with smaller kids one can draw some lessons from these stories (be kind, help others, value of friendships, etc).

This is an absolutely wonderful book, I ordered it for my daughters birthday, and she is in love with it, we read at least one story out of it every night before bed. The book is a little large for a small child to hold on their own, but otherwise, its perfect for Disney princess fans of all ages! The book has a very sturdy hard cover, and the font is nice and large. Also, what makes it look much nicer is that the sides of the pages each have a bit of shine on them, so when you close the book it has a nice silver trim on the outside. Finally, the pictures are gorgeous, and very well detailed. I would highly recommend this to parents or any Disney fan, its definitely worth the price!

I got this for my 2 and 4 year old daughters who love books. I would say that it is better-suited for an older child (6 and up), because it has A LOT of writing. I flip through the pages and hit-or-miss tell the story rather quickly to keep their interest. I definitely don't read the whole story. By the time I'm done with one, they are ready for the next one. It is one of their favorite books. It has a wide variety of princesses, not just the usuals. It also has classic and new stories. We got this for about $5, which you can't beat for a large, hardcover Disney book. We purchased two more (Christmas Stories and Disney Classics) and will be opening them on Christmas.

I bought this for my 3 year old daughter who is getting into the princess theme. She loves it. We now have a new bedtime story book. It is a little thin on illustrations (for a 3 year old), but I don't find this to be a big deal. The stories are kind of long for my daughter to hold attention but I don't think this will be a problem 3 months from now. They have stories about each princess outside of the traditional fairy tale context which is a great addition in my opinion.

The book itself is well made with good quality paper. Being a children's book, it will be subject to some rough handling. I can see it lasting for a while.

My 3 year old has been very "in" to the princesses for over a year, but has never actually seen any of the movies (they are a little too long, and sometimes scary for the little ones). This book was the perfect solution. The stories are the right length for bedtime. They each tell a story, and take the princesses out of the usual context of the traditional story. It is a huge hit!

Nice pictures but the words take up as much space as the pictures, so the book is half words, not saying thats a bad thing. My daughter is 2 and a half and it still captures her attention, any younger and it may not. Overall very nice book and happy we purchased it.

I purchased this to share with my granddaughter who, at the moment, is very young and has a hard time sitting through a longer read, so the short stories are what we are enjoying for the most part. The longer stories will be shared later and eventually this will be a book she is reading herself and then sharing with her kids someday. Definitely a keepsake!
