If you're looking for a good quality case with clear acrylic that looks great on a shelf, this could be the one you're looking for. I like this case a lot because the acrylic is really clear and the edges are put together well - much better than some of the cheaper cases you'll find on eBay.

Important note: Because the case goes over the top of the football, this case isn't made for mounting on a wall. It's meant to sit with the bottom on a flat surface.

While the base isn't made of anything fancy, it looks high quality and is constructed well. Your football will look sturdy and special in this raised case. One of the best parts about this case is there is a small cutout in the base that holds the ball in place. As a result, you don't need to buy a separate stand for your ball. I have a full size college ball in my case and it looks great.

My son thought this was a $400 case it looked so nice. He had a previous case that got broken, I tried to find something similar and went with this display case. It looks much better in person than in the picture. The only thing I did not like is that the bottom of the case and lid are not attached. If you are putting a football in there permanently then you can glue them together.
