In summary of what the issues were.
1. Network speeds were well below the 1Gb/s advertised
2. USB 3.0 devices connected to the dock were connecting to a USB 2.0 hub/speed according to the Mac
3. High pitch whine when connecting to the audio jack on the dock
4. Video response time was laggy on monitors connected to video ports 2 & 3
After working with Minisopuru support it was determined that the dock that I received was defective. Thank you to Kevin on their support team who spent quite a bit of time troubleshooting with me. Not only did they refund me for the defective dock, they sent me a new dock at no cost. The new dock resolved issues 1, 2 & possibly part of #4
The remaining issues I have are not specifically related to the dock itself. Issue #3 is a high pitch whine when connecting audio to the dock. This appears to be an issue with my DisplayPort KVM and its audio cables and how it works with the dock, not the dock itself. This wasn't the case on the previous dock I had. I found a work around using equipment I already had that resolved this to my satisfaction.
The second remaining issue has to do with the performance of the DisplayLink chip set and drivers. The screen performance can be laggy on monitors connected to video ports 2 & 3. According to DisplayLink support this is due to how the DisplayLink software and chipset provide support for 3 monitors. For me I moved the monitor connectors around so my primary monitor was connected to video port 1. Since the dock uses USB to transport the video signal from the MacBook to the monitors I suspect the defective dock contributed to this issue but I think this is mainly due to limitations of the DisplayLink technology which may be be improved with driver updates.
Again, thank you to Kevin on their support team for working with me to find the cause of and a resolution to these issues.

Review update:
After spending a few days with this dock it has been removed from my environment. Not only was I experiencing lagging video with the monitors not connected to port one on the dock as I mentioned below I also found that the physical ethernet network connection was limited to 250Mbps, not 1Gbps, and ALL the USB 3.2 ports on the front of the dock are actually USB 2.0 and only provide 480Mbps of bandwidth/speed. I've included screen shots from my Mac System Information screen showing what is in the dock. A USB 3.2 connected device should have, as they claim, 5Gbps speed when connected to the dock. That is not the case when connecting to this dock. The screen shot showing 5Gbps is when I connected the SSD to the MacBook itself.
I contacted support about all these issues and they tried to explain the issues away. For the network speeds they said I wasn't using a "Super 6" ethernet cable and that was causing my problems. I tried multiple cables with the dock, all of which provide full 1Gbps bandwidth when connected to other devices no issue. So it's not the network cable.
I believe Minisopuru KNOWS that this dock doesn't provide what they claim based on the fact that after the 2nd email to support discussing my issues (before I found the network speed issues and USB port issues) they offered me a full refund for the dock. If the dock performed/provided what it claims I would expect them to offer a replacement since it was defective. The offer of the refund is the ONLY positive thing I can say about Minisopuru.
If you don't believe what I'm saying check for yourself. On the Mac go to System Information and select USB and look at the dock USB ports, they will show they are USB 2.0 ports. A USB 3.0/3.1/3.2 device will show as being that version. Network wise, if your internet speed/bandwidth is above 250Mb/s visit a speed test site on the internet and see what speeds you get.

I got this dock to connect my new 16" MacBook Pro to my three monitors on my desk, USB-A devices, physical ethernet connection, and speakers. Only the USB-A device connections have not caused me issues. I will start with the least annoying issue:
The physical ethernet connection is not connecting using the USB 10/100/1000 LAN as is listed in the question section on Amazon site, instead it shows up and connects with USB Display??? Talk about not making sense.
Audio wise when connecting the audio jack on the front of the dock to my DisplayPort KVM there is horrible feedback. This could be with the the KVM itself but I didn't experience this with the previous dock I had so I'm not sure if it is the KVM or the dock. I can work around this.
The worst issue is the screen performance, and one I don't think I can work around it. On the monitor connected to port one on the dock the animations, moving windows, etc is a smooth as it is when connected directly to the MacBook. On monitors 2 and 3 it is a different story. Anything that moves too quick on the screen, like dragging windows, minimizing/maximizing animations are choppy/laggy very noticeably. I have the latest DisplayLink drivers installed and tried different screen resolutions with no change. I have emailed both Minisopuru and Displaylink support about this. Hopefully they will have a resolution for it. If not, this might be show stopper for me.

If they would make a newer version with a power supply big enough for the dock and able to charge a Mac I would buy the update, but for now I deducted a star.
HP windows 11 pro laptop
2 - HP M27h monitors (1920x1080 resolution, 75Hz refresh rate)
I am using both HDMI input ports (display 1 and 3). No DisplayPort inputs.
The HDMI in display 1 works perfect. The HDMI for display 3 keeps cutting in and out.
This is not a monitor or cable issue as I’ve switched them and it’s ALWAYS the one connected to display 3. Nothing I do makes the screen come back, I just need to wait for it to come back on. Sometimes it’s a second or two, sometimes longer.
This is becoming very frustrating for me and reducing my ability to do my job. I purchased this because I have a windows computer for work and a MacBook for personal computer so I wanted a dock that could accommodate both. When it works - it’s great. When it doesn’t I want to throw it out the window. It always seems to go out at THE WORST time.
I just reached out to the support so I will update after if it can be fixed, if it’s a faulty device or if I decide to return it.
*UPDATE: if you have problems reach out to the sellers and they will make it right! Excellent customer service and all issues are resolved.
2021 M1 macbook pro
2x 1920x1080
1x 2560x1080 (ultrawide)
displaylink version: 1.8.1
mac os: ventura 13.3.1
Please note you need to download DisplayLink software for this to work...
The setup was fairly straightforward - the only non-intuitive part was setting laptop/device charging. The dock uses 1 usb-c cable for ONLY the displays (labeled "to host") and another usb-c cable that plugs from the dock to your macbook power adapter. On top of that, the dock itself has its own power supply, so you need two outlets for this to work.
Another note on the display inputs: 1x HDMI ONLY, 1x DP ONLY, 1x DP OR HDMI - please take note on the grade of cable you choose if your monitors are higher resolution/refresh rate. My ultrawide monitor did not have DP, only HDMI, so I needed an active DP to HDMI adapter. If you are using high res monitors with HDMI, make sure you are using HDMI 2.0+.
Pros:
- works as advertised for my use case
- fairly intuitive
- lots of usb input
- comes with a usb-c to usb adapter
Cons:
- requires 2 outlets
- dock power supply has a brick that hogs up outlet space (at least you can swap out a cable for the mac power supply prongs)
- only 1 usb-c header input
Was great…then it wasn’t. I was able to have multiple monitors on my MacBook and it was a game changer. Now when I plug in this hub, my computer just keeps restarting and crashing. Sucks.
Top reviews from other countries
It's well-constructed with aluminum alloy shell which I prefer rather over plastic ones for obvious reasons. It's reasonably compact with respect to the number of ports it provides. However, there is no LED indicator of any sort which is a bit of a boo-boo for me.
≡ Data
The speed is fairly decent and it's consistent with the USB 3.2 Gen 2x1 speed (~ 768 MB/s during the tests with an external 1TB NVMe SSD) so there is no complaint there but then again that's not something to write home about either at this point in time.
≡ Value
All things considered, this is fairly decent 4-port USB 3.2 hub (@ 10Gbps) that's fairly compact and works as expected without issues. However, if you'd like it to charge other devices, even at a VERY low rate, I'd say find other dedicated charging devices instead unless you absolutely have no other choice or in an emergency situation because these USB-C ports only rated at 5V/0.9A each and they are simply NOT equipped with or designed for charging. It's reasonably priced at $27 for what it provides and its overall performance, features, and physical build quality.

The main sockets are then four USB data ports (USB C 3.2) with a theoretical transfer speed of 10GB, which is twice as fast as USB 3.0.
It's almost certain that this is the future of USB connectivity, as USB C is expected to displace USB A.
The usefulness of this hub is probably then determined by how often you need to connect your host machine to multiple USB C devices.
Nevertheless, I'm impressed by the hub's specifications and data connection, which surpass those of the average four-port USB hub.
