Made from a gauzy fabric (not paper really), these are wonderful for holding loose tea as a make-your-own tea bag. What I love them best for though is holding spices that you don't want to end up in your final product - the bouquet garni, the unbroken peppercorns or juniper berries you put into a stew, the cloves and other small spices that go into mulled cider or wine - you get the idea. (Also great for canning, but you may need to use a couple of bags.)
Grandma's $0.02 - Every kitchen needs a package or two of these! Highly recommended
I also use this tea bag to put in my portable mug. I have a relatively short commute, so when I get to my work, the tea is ready (though it may gets too strong if I leave it too long).
I recommend this product to anyone who likes to drink loose leaf tea.

Good size and good durability. Just practice folding them up a bit and you won't get any loose tea coming out.Published 11 months ago by McBeardsalot
These work great for loose leaf tea and other dried herbs. I love how they just fold over like a sandwich bag. I've never had any trouble with anything coming out of the bag. Read morePublished 19 months ago by WillowLanders
These bags are impossible to find around me locally but I love them not only for travel to bring my lose teas with me but for cooking as spice bags I can just toss out after use.Published 19 months ago by Dee Dee
