Best Disposable Piping Bags You Can Get

I worked at a high-end grocery store for a few months in the bakery department and this was the only kind of piping bag they used. I was so impressed I decided to buy a box for myself. The plastic has a slight grip to it and is also not too flimsy. The plastic is just the right thickness to give you flexibility and the ability to twist the bag as you use up frosting, or flatten the bag to push frosting to the end, but is not so thin that it sticks to itself, crumples or gets holes. The plastic is sturdy enough to stand straight while you spoon in frosting.

Theses bags are thick and durable. Easy to fill and crimp with no breaking.They have an actual seam on the bag and for me, this made it difficult to use them for fine icing work. I have no experience with piping so maybe that wouldn't be a problem for someone with experience. I am keeping them because they are fine for ocassionalgreat for piping other foods.. ie. Warm potatoes..

I wasn't sure how I would feel about a textured icing bag but they seemed like a good value for money. At first opening the bags I was a little skeptical because they definitely feel different but after using it I was pleasantly surprised at how nice it is to have some extra grip.

A total failure for live fish transport

I often visit the pier to yank up some big ash sheepshead from the blue-green Florida shallows. I need a way of transporting the fish to my home when done with all the yanking. Being an unusually innovative fisherman, I'm open to cutting-edge means of fish transportation that might not entice my more traditional cohorts. That's why I FLIPPED when I saw these bags. Finally, a no-fuss live fish conveyance!

Uh-uh. Try again.

I stuffed one of these bags to the gills with three sheepshead and started on my way back home. To my horror, I arrived home with three sheepsdead. Every last fish died of oxygen deprivation in the DecoPac Kee-Seal Bags. That great big stomach, deep in the heart of my torso, emptied itself as soon as eau de fish carcass hit my nostrils. So I lost the fish and my lunch. My saltwater swimming pool remains short a school of sheepshead. The red snapper are deprived of new playmates that much longer, courtesy of DecoPac.

Some tips for the manufacturer. This should have been obvious, guys. Know your market. Make the bags larger so fishermen can fit three or four sheepshead comfortably in one bag. Put some air holes near the top of the bag so that oxygen can flow in and keep the water fresh, otherwise the sheepshead will end up with underoxygenated water and kick the bucket like my ill-fated catch.

I've used this brand plenty and decided to try the "ultra" version. I was surprised at how much better the grip is. It makes a huge - and I mean HUGE -difference when you're doing a lot of piping and your hand gets tired or sweaty. As good as the regular bags are, I'll only buy these ultra bags from now on.

These are great. When I first opened the box (which was in need of repair as it was damaged in the shipping!), I wasn't sure what to think: the bags are on a roll and you tear them off as needed. They are not a perfect triangle shape in that at the top, it is sort of angled (very hard to describe) but the part where the tip goes is normal. The bag itself is quite large - which is want I wanted and to be honest, they feel kind of gross. Almost tacky on the exterior. HOWEVER....that is a good thing! So easy to handle, not slippery. For the first time, I was able to fill the bag with icing without getting it all over the cuff. Bags are quite sturdy but pliable enough. So happy with this purchase - well worth the money.
