Ultra Slim Wallet Just Shy of Perfection

I loved the idea of slimming down my wallet. I also fell in love with the credit card tab design that distinguishes this wallet design from other brands. And then Distil Union added a coin pocket...drop the wallet, I had to have it. This ultra slim wallet does not disappoint on these three points. Its made from quality leather, the credit card tab is an excellent feature (no more fumbling through cards at the check out line), and I finally have a place to stow coins with a simple squeeze between my pointer finger and thumb. My sole reason for giving this only 4 stars: the stitching is already fraying on one corner after only a week of use. Not sure if this is a defect or if it even bothers me enough to return it for an exchange. But it does make my review just shy of perfection with 4 Stars!

After a few weeks of regular, non-stuffed (6 cards) usage, the card slot became so deformed that it wouldn't hold my cards securely anymore. One hot afternoon, the cards decided to make a run for it and I was thus left without my credit card, driver's license and supermarket discount card, which i quite frankly consider a travesty!

The coin pouch was magical though. i'm gonna miss you, pouchy.

and Money Clip is a bit lose , you can keep less than 10 bills without dropping them .

i think they can do better quality , or mine is just from a troubled patch !

I've had this for a couple of weeks now, it's an excellent wallet that is much slimmer than your typical wallet.

Most slim wallets sacrifice a coin pocket - at least for me, carrying coins is an inevitability so I couldn't compromise on that. This wallet offers a coin wallet, and in a unique magnetic close mechanism. I had some doubt over how well it can hold shut, but it's super strong.
The card slot is also a breeze with the red tab. The money clip seems a little insecure at first (unless you have a large stack of cash!) however, since you only need to open the wallet to access cash, it stays shut and secure most of the time.

If I could suggest a couple of improvements, it would be to add a corner slot for the notes; so they're held down on one corner (or two opposing corners) just so it's a bit more secure than just the metal clip. And the wallet could even be shorter - so barely taller than a credit card. This would make the coin pouch a bit smaller, but then the overall form could be even more compact.

However I am really just nitpicking here. As it is, it's the best wallet I've ever had - the packaging was really nice, and the build quality and materials are top notch too. It feels like it will last a lifetime! It may not be the cheapest 'slim' wallet on Amazon, but it's certainly worth it if you want a slim wallet with a coin pouch.

So far, liking this wallet a LOT. Combine with an app to store your loyalty cards and you're forced to get rid of clutter and down to a much slimmer wallet. Wasn't sure of money clip but it's working well. I use the second pocket for a few more cards and receipts - rather than coins. Leather is great quality.

I seem to wear out wallets v.quickly. Yet to see whether this stands the test. Had another (expensive) slimming wallet before (Bellroy) and that did not.

BTW, "Euro" name is misleading - had me wondering whether this would only fit smaller currencies but it's perfectly large enough for UK notes.

I have been looking for a wallet with squeeze-to-open coin pocket for a long time. This wallet looked very promising. I Was not so much conviced with the paper notes solution but I guess it works. The card holder sometimes get stuck when you want to pull card out. On the other hand if wallet is turned up side down the cards may easily fall out. It is not a major problem and more of a consequence of the very minimalistic design of the wallet. The over quality is good. The main reason why I dropped two stars is the coin pocket. The idea is ingenious and it would be perfect if it worked every time you squeeze it. Unfortunately, on average every second time it fails to open and the sides instead of spreading apart bend both to one side (see last two photos). I have to also add that I paid only £20 so it is not so bad.
