From the Inside Flap
She's got probable cause to make her move . . .
Danika Silva can't stand Lt. Greer Burns. Her roommate's older brother may be sexy as hell, but he's also a cold, unfeeling robot. She just wants to graduate and forget about her scowling superior. But when a dangerous mistake lands Danika on probation--under Greer's watch--she's forced to interact with the big, hulking jerk. Call him daily to check in? Done. Ride shotgun in his cruiser every night? Done. Try not to climb into his giant, muscular lap and kiss him? Umm . . .
Greer doesn't let anything--or anyone--distract him from the job. Except lately, all he can think about is Danika. He's wanted the beautiful, cocky recruit since the moment he saw her. But she's reckless and unpredictable, and Greer is painfully aware of what can happen when an officer doesn't follow the rules. Probation seemed like a good idea, but now Danika's scent is in his car and he's replayed her voicemails twenty times. Christ, he's a goner.
Danika's melting Greer's stone-cold exterior one ride-along at a time. Being together could have serious consequences . . . but breaking a few rules never hurt anybody, right?--All About Romance (Desert Isle Keeper) --This text refers to an alternate kindle_edition edition.

I loved this series of books and I must say the best was saved for last.
I did love the interactions of Danika, police academy student, and lieutenant Greer Burns. (Greer?!!! Sorry, hate the name).
There are some interactions between the leads that have started in the two earlier books. I have not read those books and have no intention as the heroes in those books are too young for my taste.
Loved the yummy and grouchy stuff and there are some hot scenes. A bit too much internal monologue but overall great story!
Greer was really head over heels for Danika, as became clear in his POV. Loved that!
Greer and Danika are such a compelling couple because when the tough guy falls in love, he falls hard! Having been acquainted with Greer since book one, it is GLORIOUS to see behind the gruff, task master facade that he always wears. My favorite part of any romance is the struggle, the angst, the REASONS that they can't be together. Because you know they're going to end up together. It's a romance, after all. I love the struggle in this book! There is a scene that takes place in a locker room that literally made me gasp and say "I KNOW HE JUST DID NOT!!!" What more can you ask for, when you know at the end you're going to get an HEA??
Tessa Bailey is such a skilled writer. She's not just a wonderful technical writer, but her storytelling ability is unparalleled and she builds worlds that I want to actually live in. I'll settle for reading them again and again!
* Good storyline that continues after the teasing glimpse we got in the previous book
* Greer and his stoic manners gets rumpled by Danika and I love how she gets under his skin.
* The chemistry between them is sizzling and the feelings is coming clearly through in the story
* No unnecessary descriptions of surroundings
* The dialogues is plenty and some of them so emotional 😭
* I love the love scenes, they are hot, raw and sweet, but so tasteful.
This is the last book in this series and it’s the best. Tessa Bailey has a tendency to tease you through the series with little snippets that makes you crave more. When the last book comes you are so on edge that you’re expectations are very high, and she delivers as always 💖
5 stars 🌟
I loved Danika, she was both tough but vulnerable. She likes the idea of taking care of others and helping however she is willing to bend rules and do things herself instead of working with a partner or asking for help. She is an amazing friend and daughter.
Greer was a man I really liked to get frustrated with. In some ways, I really liked his controlling dominating ways. However there were times I felt like it was his defense mechanism. He is this by the book type of man, who likes a woman who likes to color outside the lines and it frustrates him. Watching him squirm with Danika was fun to read about.
The sexy times between these two were hot. I loved the banter between them also. This whole book was just a joy to read. I didn't want it to end.

Bailey builds up the sexual tension between the hero, police Lieutenant Greer and trainee cop Danika really well. I was hooked the whole way through, waiting for them to get together, and when they did, for them to get together again and again! The sex scenes are hot and descriptive!
Beyond the erotic stuff, Greer and Danika are both really likable characters who you buy into. Greer is a totally alpha male who just needs a bit of tenderness, and Danika is good-hearted woman who doesn't realise that she needs to be taken care of for a change, rather than looking after everyone else.
Really well written. This is my first Bailey book and I am delighted that she has an extensive back catalogue to enjoy.
Adorei.
The two main characters had been leveling up the tension for two books, so when this one starts it does pretty quickly.
They both struggle with their past and make a mess out of it.
Tessa Bailey is giving a little bit of closure in the other two books of the series, we have some pretty scene were Ever, Charlie, Jack, and Katie make more than support Danika, we see the rainbow after the storm.
I can't believe I'm writing this review before Indecent Exposure. I wasn't planning on reading this one just after the second, but my moody ass reader wanted something sweet to sleep on. Because I genuinely finished this in one night girls.
