A wonderfully thorough but concise guide that helps you quickly get a grip on exactly where all the best fishy action is located, both before the trip and while you're out on the ocean, Don't dive Northeast Indonesia without it!
The book is great - it really did help me as we had a few occasions where the directors were saying we could do X Y or Z site and I could rush off to my cabin and look up what that actually meant. It was nice to have a third party opinion.

The book combines diving and snorkeling information for the area with sidebar information about the history and culture of Papua. Highly recommended for anyone planning a trip to the area.
(1) whatever format it is, it does not read well on a Kindle Voyage. True, color on a phone or tablet is better but sometimes the Voyage is what I will use. And it is like reading a faintly printed .pdf on my Voyage. Not true Kindle format.
(2) there is a lot of "padding" about what to bring, the place, etc. including full page pictures of people and such that can be gleaned from any number of websites. I bought this for info on SITES and what is there and when to go there. Thus, I find this lacking.
