|Divorcing a Real Witch fills a huge gap in the resources that Witches and Pagans have in the areas of family and relationships. This book is not just the story of an individual, but a practical and spiritual companion for what is truly a transformational journey.|
From the Author
There were many things I learned after finding myself divorced by age 26: first, that divorce stigma very much exists in some Pagan communities, and second, that even though it appeared a common occurrence, rituals, support, or spiritual focus were almost but not quite completely missing. Ten years and around 180 deep-detailed survey answers later (plus around twenty one- -on-one interviews), I found the support and advice I wished I had had. This book looks at divorce after the decision to part; along with detailing practical matters such as living arrangements, safety issues, oath breaking, and acts of self-care for a life event that is at times necessarily traumatic. This book is written from the perspective of divorce as a social solution rather than as a social problem.
