This game is GREAT!!! My husband got this for me cause I wanted Temple Run, wich I played on my daughters IPhone and loved. We play LineRunner on my Kindle Fire and we LOVE it!! At first I wasn't sure about it because I thought it looked stupid compared to TempleRun. I was WRONG. My husband and I were instantly argueing over wanting to play because neither of us could put it down! The game concept is simple. tap left side to roll and tap right side to jump or hold jump side to make longer jump! it's that simple, wich most ppl would know if they read directions first! As for the ppl sayin it's to fast or hurt's their eye's, it's supposed to be fast-paced hence (LineRUNNER!). When yr playing, don't be looking at everything together, focus on dude himself and tumbstones. fade out the scenery, its designed to confuse ya! The only thing I don't like about it is on my Kindle I cant share scores and compete with the rest of the world! At first I did'nt like that there was no end to the level's. but once I thought about it,if they made endings, there would'nt be about "time". and I think it's funner to beat times than to just conquer levels! the game runs AWSOME on my KindleFire. I would recommend this game to EVERYONE, even my 3 yr. old nephew play's!! over all it's great for ppl with good hand-eye coordination or if you want to improve your's. I started out not getting past like, 64 or something. Now I can do almost 300! This game is VERY FUN, COMPETITIVE, AND ADDICTIVE, LOVE ITT!!! Just please work on the fact that we can't share our scores and be ranked with the rest of the world!!!!!!!
This review is described from my own personal experience within the app. Linerunner runs smoothly on the Kindle Fire. There aren't any "graphics" to it - it's suppose to look like how it is pictured. Don't expect a glorious landscape. I have experienced no issues with this game. My highest score is 13,572. There are many people who are giving out false accusations about this app which annoys me greatly. It is a fun and addictive game that requires PATIENCE. Haven't you guys heard of the Training Course? Linerunner has a Training mode to help get you familiar with the controlls etc.. All it takes is time and practice to get used to the (very easy) controlls. Not to mention that the screen does NOT go super fast. In fact, it is at a normal speed. Take my word for it and install this app; the permissions are perfectly fine and won't do you any harm. I have had Linerunner for at least 3 months and it has been fun and addicting.
I bought this game because it was free. I wasn't really expecting much, but I was pleasantly surprised. This game is actually quite addicting. It has very simple graphics, but many games with simple graphics are more fun than any games with complex graphics. That is the case with Line Runner. Also, I like the fact that there are not many advertisements at all. In lots of free games you are constantly asked to buy things with real money. Also, the game isn't fun unless you buy things. In Line Runner, the game comes with everything. You don't have to buy anything in the game. The only reason why I didn't give this game five stars is because I don't believe in giving anything five stars. I'm sort of old-fashioned that way.
I'm not big into these kind of games and find this really hard to play. I don't have the knack. Also just kind of sick as it shows red blood puddles when you die (you can elect to turn off, but really? It's the default setting, and real blood doesn't make me squeamish, so why would virtual?) and tombstones mark your most recent progress... where you died on last run. This game is just kind of simple and silly, but actually tasteless for those reasons. Yet it is still on my Kindle Fire. I rarely use. But, hey, it was free... got what I paid for this time, something useless and dumb.
Its a fun game, but in my country I had to pay $4.99 for my 14 year old daughter, very addictive for her age... I just don't think it was worth the pay.... I don't know what the price is in some countries but I wouldn't recommend something not full worth the pay. I was thinking of deleting it first but it will just be the waste of money. Buy something you know what is the worth the pay. Other than that do not buy this game and make a wrong choice by getting it in the first place. There's better things to buy for $4.99, than just a game.
If your finger reflexes and your eye-hand coordination are lightning-fast you will probably enjoy this for a few minutes. You jump over and under obstacles that are coming at you VERY fast. Boring after a few minutes.
Ive played this game on a iphone and it's a lot smaller but still same speed. The only way it would be slow would be if your phone has a slow processor. High Score is 800+ on most tracks, it's over 2000 on training. Also most of the 1 star reviews are people that suck at the game or said the developer spammed 5 star reviews... Even if that's true, does it mean you should give the app 1 star just because it has good ratings? Some people are very immature to make a pointless review that has no constructive criticism. Overall this game is great and I've yet to beat one of the levels if that's even possible. Will keep you and your friends boredom free for ages trying to beat each others high scores.
My brother downloaded this app on my Kindle Fire and I was surprised to see that I like it, a lot. It's a competitive challenge for him and me. But, the blocks are moving so fast, and I start to get headaches. I just wish that the blocks wouldn't move as fast, but if that were to happen, it wouldn't be challenging. I overall would give this game a 4. :) very fun and tricky!!
