The life of a work-at-home mom is non-stop. Breaks seldom happen and the lines that used to provide boundaries between work and home are obliterated. It's easy to slip into auto-pilot and drive ourselves to exhaustion. But that's not God's best for us. In Jill Hart's new devotional, she helps women press the pause button and be refreshed with the Word of God and encouragement from another mom whose been there. Her sweet style will make you feel like someone just handed you a latte and gave you a mid-morning break! You'll be inspired to keep sight of what's really important and thrive in your calling to work from home. --Glynnis Whitwer, I Used to Be So Organized, Executive Director of Communications, Proverbs 31 Ministries
"Finally a devotional specifically for the work-at-home mom. You will be blessed by Jill's insight and wisdom as she delves into God's Word and shows you not only where it is applicable to your life but also challenges and encourages you to apply it. A fabulous tool to help us stay focused on Him and His purposes in our lives and in our roles as wife and mother." --Leslie Pyle, MSc, HBWM.com, HomeBasedWorkingMoms.com, HireMyMom.com
As a mother of three, wife, friend, chauffeur, business owner, dishwasher and an endless list of other titles, I fully understand the juggling act that we all face. What a winner Jill Hart has in her new book Do Life Different! Allow Jill's more than a decade of Work-At-Home expertise to offer you much-needed guidance, support, and encouragement. --Jennifer Maggio, CEO of The Life of a Single Mom Ministries and author
About the Author
Jill Hart s entrepreneurial career began in her teens when her father put her in charge of a Coke machine and allowed her to keep the profits. She quickly discovered the benefits of being her own boss, and that same entrepreneurial spirit now motivates her to help other women build their businesses from home. As the founder of the popular Christian work-at-home website, CWAHM.com, and co-author of So You Want to be a Work-at-Home Mom, Jill reaches countless women through her writing, speaking, and coaching. She runs her business from her Nebraska home where she lives with her husband and two kids, and works in her pajamas as often as possible.

Before the book begins (in the preface), Jill Hart shares this scripture "Psalm 46:10 - Cease striving and know that I am God." WOW! It blew me away - stop working tirelessly toward goals and know that He is God. Immediately I was strengthened. What a replenishing scripture for the dehydrated soul, speaking calm into the chaos of life.
Do Life Different is laced with Bible verses, godly advice, and questions designed to ignite fire in your faith! It also includes video links (in both the ebook and book) at the end of each chapter that collaborates with each devotion!

But Jill Hart’s Do Life Different sounded right up my alley, so I decided to pick it up. As a work-at-home mom, I’ve been looking for something to uplift and encourage me. Let’s face it, we all experience burnout. I didn’t want to admit that this was exactly what I’d been dealing with. I mean, I’m super mom, right? I can do it all. The kids. The book. The schooling. I did it all right, but I was losing my sense of joy while doing it. Something had to change.
Do Life Different is exactly what I needed. With 52 quick devotions, one for each week of the year, this book goes at the perfect pace (I’m currently about halfway through). Jill writes to the heart of women. She gets it. She knows moms are busy. She’s heard all the excuses for not taking time out for devotions. But who doesn’t have time for one devotion a week? This book is so laid back, I feel like I’m reading personal letters or emails from Jill. I love the format and I know other work-at-home moms will feel the same.
The best part about Do Life Different is that Jill not only includes some questions to think on with space to write following each devotion, but she has included a link to videos (...) that go along with each one. The videos are short (between 5 and 10 minutes long). Reading the devotion and then watching and listening to Jill talk about it is like sitting down with a friend for my own personal Bible Study/ Book Club. It’s very intimate and refreshing. I highly recommend Do Life Different to any work-at-home mom looking for a dose of spiritual encouragement.
