This book is pretty well written in terms of content, but a little lacking on "writing funny" given the topic of the book. Has great insights and pointed advice on how one could add humor in their talks. Was a great quick read. Thanks to David Nihill for this book

I did learn great many things from this book. Some the ideas, I did naturally, as they are common sense. But there where many suggested was of gaining public speaking skills, that I did not Know. Great read, to read again, and again.

Overall it is a very useful book, full of good and practical pointers. It focuses on stand-up comedy without a bridge to normal presenting, which is a bit of a shortcoming, but it is worth the read. It's short & concise, so a very quick read. Some of the Ted talks he references are really profound illustrations of the points he makes?

David's book set me on a path to conquer stage fright and boring speeches in one fell swoop.

Looking forward to putting these habits to work during my next standup routine aka or board meeting.

The book spoke primarily about just getting up and talking in comedy clubs to get experience, but had some other good tips as well.
