Very Helpful! Very Practical! Got a lot out of this book and felt the author was sincere in his desire to help others succeed. Got a lot out of his personal stories. His writing was simple and to the point and he impressed me with his humbleness. Don't usually get much out of these types of books but I read this one cover to cover.... pretty much a first. Thanks David, from Glenn

I enjoyed reading this book. I used lot of the ideas from this book in my speech and they were all well received by audience. After reading this book, I realized that the only way I can better in professional presentation is to practice, practice & practice. What better place to try and fail than Toastmasters. So, I joined local ToastMasters club and tried out these ideas. I failed miserably on some sessions; hey, it was not life threatening and much better option than failing in front of my boss.

This book is pretty well written in terms of content, but a little lacking on "writing funny" given the topic of the book. Has great insights and pointed advice on how one could add humor in their talks. Was a great quick read. Thanks to David Nihill for this book

This was a great joy to read. I never intend to do stand-up comedy but I do aspire to break out of my dullness. I will prove I CAN teach an old fart new tricks! Thanks, Irish! !

This book is hilarious, full of stories, and packed with useful information. I'd recommend this to anyone trying to get better at public speaking or just being funny in general.
The book is filled with stories that illustrate his points. Then when you get to the end, he gives you a link to a page full of video clips to help you see what he's talking about in action. He also sums the book up for you in the end with his short 80 tips. (And here I was highlighting like a mad man.) Best of all, he invites all who buy this book into a private Facebook group where members can upload and help critique each other's presentations. With all these added bonuses, this book is more than just a book, it's an entire class! He could have charged $50-$100 or more and it still would have been a killer deal.

Totally enjoying this book - I'm Irish so a lot of what he says about his past resonates well with me but I also totally "get" what he's talking about. Much like the writer, I'm one of those people who dreads going on stage or having to do public conference presentations so I bought this book figuring if I can tap into my Irish humor which carries me well socially, I can surely learn how to tap into it for those presentations I do not enjoy and am hoping I'll learn how to control my breathing techniques as well! An inexpensive book worth every penny!
