We have these security alarms for last 3-4 months now.I would definitely recommend these for bathroom windows, or those back windows nobody can see from front... They are pretty sensitive. We had one go off in a thunderstorm. I think something hit the window considering how windy it was.. Also once while hosing down our windows, one went off. So just one thud can set them off. So hoping nobody will be successful in breaking in our house. They are loud & annoying enough for your neighbors!! They are easy enough to turn off from inside in such accidents. Also there's a warning sign printed on them, which is visible from outside.

We have these on our kids' bedroom windows. So far we've had some storms and cats outside the window that haven't set them off. However, a couple of times I've forgotten to turn it off when opening or closing the window and have jumped to the ear piercing alarm. My husband and I tested them by thumping on the outside of the window. They need a decent thump, which is good so they don't go off constantly. It would go off if someone was trying to get in. They make our kids feel safer and we are happy with them. :)

We got these due to supposed break-ins near our apartment, so we figured why not. Our apartment complex does not have any type of security system so we figured something was better than nothing, and the sound of these alone is definitely enough to scare off a criminal! I have occasionally forgotten that we have these, and upon opening the window, it's gone off and scared the crap out of me. It has even gone off from simply hitting the window on accident. Overall, great product!

Bought these several months ago--2 4/packs for a total of 8. Pulled the battery striping, stuck them on the windows, and they work great. For example, when an big icicle hit my window, it set off the alarm. A bird flew into another, and the alarm set off. My gf accidentally tried to open the window without deactivating...set off the alarm. My point is that they work, and we've had NO false alarms, and NO slipping off (to be safe, I used scotch tape over the edges to make sure!) To shut off alarm, simply flip the switch on the device. To reactivate, simply lift up, it chirps 2 times, and it's live. Battery indicator too. You really cannot go wrong
with these, if you want some cheap but effective security, and don't want to splurge for a home-monitoring system. Highly recommended!

I bought two of these, one for a window and the other for the sliding glass door. They are small and on the reverse side it has a red logo with a dog. I like that it shows people on the outside that I do have a security system. It is very easy to set up, you just peel off the sticker on the back and stick it on the window. You flick the switch to on and after a couple seconds it beeps to let you know it works. We have had a couple of windstorms the past few days and it never set off the alarm. If I bump the glass or open the door/window it will go off. It is very loud and exhibits a generic security alarm sound. I highly recommend for an added security.

Battery cover easily falls off. False alarm if you move in front of it after alarming it. Nice to use if you go out of town, but button is too small for daily use of ease. Loud, piercing alarm!

Pretty impressed. Helpful tip: if you got a bunch of windows in a close proximity, one sensor will be sensitive enough to pick up the vibration. I tested it by hitting a nearby window just hard enough. I saw some pictures of ppl putting 3-4 on what seems like large glass windows made up of individual pieces. You shouldn't have to do that

These alarms are simple to use (on/off button), easy to stick to windows, and seem to work great. I was worried that maybe they would go off of it was windy or something but you'd need to hit the window pretty hard for that to happen. So far it's a great cheap way to beef up security a little.

They're an adequate Secondary, in the first line of defense. In cold weather, for instance in a garage window where there is no heat, they come off easily and fall. And they're not all that loud. But sufficient in alarming someone who is unaware. Definitely have a Louder alarm as a Main First, these I Feel are good for an apartment type window, sliding glass door, but for a house, I'm not convinced my neighbors would even hear it, mainly for those indoors to hear it, and if that's the case, great. For what it's worth, $8 at Home Depot or around $8 to $11 here on Amazon, you get what you pay for. But would definitely use these in conjuction with another Louder alarm.
