Two of the eyelets/line guides are almost completely glued closed. Just pathetic lack of attention to detail in the Chinese factory where it was made. I must admit that I missed that it was made in China until I got it.
I probably would not buy a $110 fishing roof that I knew was made in China, and this one is exactly why. Why do I want a fishing rod that I can't cast with?
I've attached a couple pictures of each eyelet that's covered in glue. I poked at the glue to see if it might flake off, but it is hard and VERY stuck there.
Very disappointed in this and in my choice.
