UPDATE: After 1.5 years, and good performance, I ordered another pair. I thought I had already dialed in the size with the last purchase. The second pair was WAY too big. Very disappointed by the apparent lack of uniform sizing. The same shoe 18months later was completely different.
Lasts only 2-3 months. Then the sole wears out and desintegrates. My weight is 180 pounds, which should not apply an exessive pressure on the shoes. These shoes were used to commute. So they we're in use in total only for 1.5 hours a day. These were the second pair of Dockers that disappointed me. The first pair was different model, very similar to this but ended their life in the same way - in the thrash bin after 4 months.
If you kind of person that used to throw away the boots every 3 months then you'll enjoy their comfort otherwise don't waste your money.
I still give them 5 stars because I was the frugal freddy who bothered to go online and save a whopping $5 (plus taxes) over Famous Footwear's in-store price of $60. I was ordering other shoes that were out of stock so i figured I might as well.
Anyhow, my wife convinced me to buy the shoes. She loves the way they look. I love the way they fit.
Sorry, I cannot attest to long-term comfort or wear but my other slip-on Dockers see day-in-and-day-out use and perform awesome in wear and pretty good in long-term comfort, BUT I DID THROW IN SOME GEL INSOLES.
For the money, you can't beat them.
I have a feeling I will be wearing my Dr. Martens Orson Loafer in Dark Brown that I ordered at the same time a bit more often however.
Will definitely buy again.
