Each story is given a few pages of text with some photos. You won't find page long interviews and the Doctors are not given any more of the light than any other performer. While there's little boxes with interviews with different participants which were quite funny.
This is not a scholarly book, but quite an enjoyable read (I actually skimmed each page, cruising through some paragraphs that weren't of interest). This might be one of the best Doctor Who behind the scenes books out there and I say this as a 28 year fan whose literally seen it all and read so many throw-away books that were made just for a buck. This is a book for fans and by fans and absolutely well done. I just wish they'd write a follow-up!
As for those that think Big Finish is audio books, and I know there's fans that do, I'm sorry for your loss, as these are full shows just as good if not better at times than the original series. And, through them we've found the 6th Doctor is pretty cool and the 8th Doctor has had some amazing adventures with Charley, Lucy and company.
Russell T.Davies provides a foreword, and Paul McGann the afterword. The book is oversized, and is about 280 pages. About the only drawback I can think of is the fact that ALL the photographs are in black and white only. Otherwise, a fun and informative guide to Big Finish's Doctor Who audios. :D
