Just one more complaint (for possible collectors): As is the habit nowadays, they included a sticker sheet instead of printing the bricks. I'm not a fan, but I am certainly used to this. For one of the steps, they wanted you to affix a large round sticker to the center of four tiles. Right over the seams. Good luck ever taking that section apart (while retaining the sticker).
The only complaints I have are that the second wall was quite flimsy compared to the first wall, and fell apart several times in the later stages of attaching it to the main control room.
The other complaint would be the color on some of the smooth pieces. 5 angled smooth sections for the balcony came in the brown color, when they were supposed to be gray. No harm done though.
Ok, so those 2 negatives, but far out-weighed by the many positives. The care in the design is delightful, so much great attention to details on the console, and the wall designs, and the windows/doorways in particular. it's really just a spectacular set, and perfect home for the character building figures! Now, if we could just get the manufacturor to give us a few more tardis models! I would love to have the interior of the first Doctor's tardis as well :)
Here's hoping there will be a 3rd wave released!
THIS IS NOWHERE NEAR THE QUALITY OF A LEGO
Sadly, Lego does not yet make Dr Who products so we were excited to try this. My 10yo son really liked it. But after weeks coming back to it again and again to attempt to finish it, we have finally given up.
Usually it takes us an hour or two to put together elaborate Legos but this thing is just unworkable on many levels.
Save yourself money, time and frustration. Don't buy this!!
Of course, no product is completely perfect, this has a few flaws I will point out. One I would say, putting this set together will make you appreciate Lego for its easy to read instructions, flawless pieces, and organization. These left a little to be desired in this set; the instructions are difficult to follow in many places, several of the yellow pieces have varying shades, and although the set comes with pieces split into about 12 different bags, there is no organization to the bags, forcing you to just dump them all into a pile and search, search, search. None of these things for me took a star away, and I did NOT have any problems with the looks or the sturdiness of the finished product.
If you like Dr. Who and Legos, I think you will like this set.

Awesome! My kids took hours assembling it and it is still adorning my dining room table - Doctor Who centerpiece!Published 1 month ago by Lawrence K. Hitchcock
Awesome set! My only complaint is that the pieces don't fit together as tightly as Lego brand.
Also, this set is big, be prepared for it to take up a lot of space!
The idea of a tardis replica is great, but I wish it was made by Lego. The instructions were very confusing, and the pieces kept falling apart. Read morePublished 13 months ago by JKM
Not quite Lego quality, but all the parts fit together fine. As a Dr. Who fan it is a great conversation piece.Published 17 months ago by Michele Goff
This is a great Dr. Who set. That being said I am only giving it 3 stars, because my son, who is very good at putting Lego items together, had a heck of a time with this set. Read morePublished 17 months ago by Dani
